After nearly a three-year hiatus from designing couture, Christian Lacroix is ready for his comeback!

The French designer been chosen to pay homage to late Italian couturier Elsa Schiaparelli with a 15-piece collection to be presented in June in Paris.

The appointment comes seven years after Italian fashion mogul Diego Delle Valle purchased the Schiaparelli trademarks and archives and a year since he announced a relaunch of the house during the Schiaparelli-and-Prada-themed Met Gala in 2012.

Speaking of the late designer, Lacroix said:

Diane von Furstenberg has had a fantastic life–marrying a prince, launching her own fashion empire–so it makes perfect sense to use her biography as inspiration for a modern fairy tale.

British author Camilla Morton, who has also written modern fairy tales for Christian Lacroix and Manolo Blahnik, has spun a thoroughly enchanting tale called Diane von Furstenberg and The Tale of The Empress's New Clothes, based on the children's classic The Emperor's New Clothes and the designer's own story.

Though, according to Morton, her version of the tale will be much more empowering than the original.

She said:

It's pretty clear that Rihanna and Chris Brown are back together.

They've been hanging together and now, it looks like he's moved on to giving her extravagant gifts.

As we showed you, she attended the launch of her Nude fragrance wearing a gold vintage Christian Lacroix choker and girlfriend was working it!

She seemed to be flaunting her new jewelry and now we know why…

Rihanna put the angel into the City of Angels Saturday afternoon at the launch of her new fragrance Nude.

The Barbadian beauty made a heavenly appearance at Macy's in Century City, where she looked virginal in a white bodysuit and lace skirt combo designed by stylist Nini Nguyen.

Instead of a halo, RiRi opted for a vintage Christian Lacroix gold choker and black Tom Ford pumps.

Is this her way of prepping for Tuesday night's Victoria's Secret Fashion Show or is she still on cloud 9 from Chris Brown's concert?

Not only is the highly-anticipated September issue about to be released, but it’s also Vogue’s 120th Anniversary issue!

So, queen bee, Anna Wintour, has taken this time to reminisce about the cover on her very first issue with the mag. She writes:

Several fashion records were broken Wednesday night at the Daphne Guinness Collection auction in London.

A bidder from the US shelled out $133,075 for an Alexander McQueen ivory silk tulle empire line gown from the late designer's The Girl Who Lived In The Tree collection, making it the highest price paid for a McQueen creation at auction.

Oddly enough, the item that fetched the most money was not clothing, but a picture of Daphne, shot by Mario Testino and featured in the March 2008 issue of British Vogue.

It alone raised $208,003, a record sale for any Testino picture.

The third record breaker of the night was a Christian Lacroix Spanish style white lace dress with a black matador jacket, which sold for $25,366.

By the end of the auction, 90% of the 102 lots available sold and total of $744,285 was raised for the Isabella Blow Foundation.

Wow! AH-MAY-ZING! We're sure Issy and Lee are smiling down on Daphne!
