Christina Ricci may have attempted to conquer the concrete jungle's busy holiday season by wearing an animal-inspired gown on Tuesday, but unfortunately her wild child look fell flat!
At the at the UNICEF Snowflake Ball in NY, the newly married actress opted for a brown Carolina Herrera number with a tri-colored bodice and a leopard-print skirt.
While we love the shape of the dress on her, the odd color and overly busy bottom half didn’t quite make our best dressed list!
But to her credit, the 33-year-old looked positively radiant and she was supporting an AH-mazing cause.
In the end, that's all that really matters!

We were obviously thrilled to hear that Christina Ricci had her dream wedding with her dream man, James Heerdegen.
But since the announcement, we’ve been at the edge of our seats waiting to get a look at the most important detail: the dress!
The newlywed finally bestowed upon us some snaps of her gown on Twitter, and the Givenchy Haute Couture number was everything we imagined and more.
The fashion house's creative director Riccardo Tisci scrapped the gorgeous piece together out of a variety of stunning of materials, including white silk tulle, Chantilly lace, pearls, and satin.
Christina also wore a white tulle veil, which featured a Chantilly lace appliqué to match her gown.

Happy love is in the air!
We love hearing about couples taking the big plunge, and this weekend it was Christina Ricci's turn!
The actress walked down the aisle with James Heerdegen on the Upper East Side in New York City.
After getting engaged less than a year ago, the lovebirds have made it official in a beautiful ceremony at the Harold Pratt House and Peterson Hall.
But the ceremony was probably only half as beautiful as the bride because we hear Christina wore a lovely Givenchy Haute Couture high neck dress with long, white beaded sleeves and a train. The starlet is said to have kept her look classic as she wore a low bun that was swept to the side.
We just hope she didn't mess up her gorgeousness too much as she dined with guests and later enjoyed some dancing. And for those needing a little sweet snack later, Christina and James reportedly had a candy bar for friends and family to enjoy.
Congrats to the happy couple!

Winona Ryder and Christina Ricci had a splashing reunion at the Marc Jacobs Spring 2014 fashion show!
The pair acted together in the movie Mermaids back in 1990 with Bob Hoskins and Cher. Likewise, this photo begs just one question: uh, where in the Seaworld is Cher?
Oh, UH uh! You do NOT just invite half of the main cast of Mermaids and not invite Cher! Marc Jacobs you better turn back tooooowm and right this wrong now mister!
Regardless, it's nice to see such a happy reunion, and gurls, you gave these runway models a
run swim for their money clams! You two looked gorgeous!

Well, that’s one way to start a marriage!
At the NYC The Smurfs 2 premiere this weekend, Christina Ricci, who voices Vexy, one of the Naughties, talked about her own trouble-making tendencies — the ones she plans to take on once she marries her fiancé, camera technician James Heerdegen, and can officially start calling him her husband:
While everyone and their grandmother blue themselves at the El Lay premiere, Christina Ricci held down the smurfy fort back in NYC.
The actress plays one of the "Naughties" in the new animated film, but she looked anything but that at the east coast screening on Sunday night.
We were a little blue in the face when we saw she didn't go with the color scheme, however, the green jacquard Thom Browne dress, along with green Casadei heels were more than welcome on the red carpet.
Pairing the outfit with a Jimmy Choo clutch and Harry Winston earrings, Miz Ricci looked whimsical with her braided crown.
If there's one thing that could make Smurfette green with envy, it would be Christina's look!

Christina Ricci knows exactly how hard it is to grow up in the spotlight — she’s been through it!
In the Modern Romance issue of Edit magazine, she both poses very romantically and opens up about her style difficulties growing up.
The actress attended her very first Cannes Film Festival at age 17 in 1997 wearing an unflattering gown she bought from Barneys, but the then-teen has had a major style evolution since then.
She reminisced about that fateful Cannes outfit, saying:
