This is great news!
We just wish it was happening a bit sooner!
The twin touring circus companies — Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus — have made a MAJOR announcement on Thursday about the future of their circuses and one of the main pieces of information that they let loose concerned the elephants in the show.
And apparently the company will be phasing out the magnificent creatures from BOTH shows!
Feld Entertainment announced that
Such a special treat!
Neil Patrick Harris and his partner David Burtka gave their 3-year-old twins one of the best Tuesdays ever!
Gideon and Harper were taken by their daddies to the Totem event produced by the Cirque du Soleil!
If the smiles on their faces are any evidence - it seems like these lil' cuties had a blast at the premiere event in Santa Monica!
NPH confirmed as much when he tweeted:
He's been in Twilight, so he's seen everything!
Peter Facinelli and his girlfriend Jaimie Alexander brought Peter's children Lola and Fiona to the Cirque du Soleil Totem show in Santa Monica this past Tuesday - but in one picture the family was NOT alone!
In fact some of the performers joined the family in one photo, and it made the picture from adorable to incredible!
As for Peter - he looked super happy to be out and about with his very attractive girlfriend and his precious children - which comes as no surprise to us.
You'd be crazy not to be happy!
He didn't seem perturbed by the fantastic looking performers at all - which makes sense since he's seen everything!
Check out another delightful picture of the family down (below) !!!

Noah Cyrus might only be 13, but she's already looking to make a difference!
The animal-loving teen has teamed up with PETA Kids in hopes of raising awareness of the abuse and poor conditions performing animals endure in the circus.
Noah took action when she saw Ringling Bros. was coming to her hometown of Nashville, and she wrote a letter to the school board urging them to avoid any field trips to the traveling circus!

Remember Serge the llama??
We previously mentioned he was kidnapped by drunk teens in France and taken on a train ride.
Since his wild ride, Serge has become a bit of a celebrity!
His hometown of Bordeaux has embraced his stardom and are celebrating their famous llama whenever they can.
This past Sunday, Serge got the chance to meet with the Bordeaux Boxers, an ice hockey team.
The team was glad to welcome the famous llama into their locker room and even posed for some pictures with the cutie llama.
Serge is getting to do all the ahmayzing things he's ever wanted to do but couldn't because he's a llama.
Just earlier that day Serge had visited Stade Chaban-Delmas stadium before his home team FC Girondins de Bordeaux's played the FC Nantes.
Way to take a kidnapping (llamanapping?) and turn it into something positive!
Serge, you are just too cute for words.

This is ridiculous and bordering on animal cruelty!
Drunk teens in France stole an 8-year-old llama named Serge from a Franco-Italian circus in Bordeaux, France early Thursday morning.
The idiots had just stumbled out of a nightclub before stealing the animal.
They eventually took the llama onto a tram stop where they hopped on a train.
After changing trains, they were eventually caught by the cops and arrested.
Serge the llama has reunited with his owners, so hopefully he's happy and healthy back home.
Those fools are lucky no one, including Serge, got hurt!
Check out the video (above) to see the thieves walking around with their llama.
Believe it or not, China regulations ban animal performances in circuses.
Though that doesn't stop illegal circuses from still having them.
The Jinan Animal Carnival Festival had promotional materials that made it look like there were fire juggling bears, goat riding monkeys and tigers riding horses.
That all sounds ahmayzing for a cartoon or something but ridiculously dangerous and cruel in real life.
Animal rights activists estimate that hundreds of these illegal performances go on each year!
