Yet another celeb who didn't get the "punk theme" memo.
But, at least Claire Danes still looks pretty.
The Homeland star wore a shimmery beaded J Mendel gown to the Met Gala tonight that looked like it could have been ripped right out of one of Jay Gatsby's parties! And the way it draped across her body was absolutely perfect.
Miz Danes definitely went for more flapper than punk rocker, but at least she wore a dramatic eye to make things a little more hardcore.

Pure perfection!
Claire Danes did America right as she added the white and blue to the red carpet at the White House Correspondents' dinner!
In a baby blue Prada dress detailed with white crystal beading, Claire looks wonderfully flawless for a night of political fun.
Her hair doesn't have a strand out of place, and could the beautiful momma look anymore fresh face?!
If we HAD to find a little imperfection, we suppose we wouldn't have minded a little bling on her wrists.
But we'll let it slide because - c'mon - it's PRADA!

Aaaand our teenage selves ate FLIPPING THEIR SHIT!
The cast of 1990's ABC drama My So-Called life — a show that we believe was of the worst victims of the being canceled before its time curse — will REUNITE at this year's ATX Television Festival!!
YUP, the show that boasted Claire Danes before she became a kick ass, bipolar FBI agent as well as Jared Leto (pre-Requiem For A Dream creepiness) will be featured in the fest's "Canceled Too Soon" category, and castmembers Wilson Cruz, Devon Odessa, Bess Armstrong, Devon Gummersall and creator Winnie Holzman will all be in attendance.
Unfortunately, Claire and Jared, arguably the two leads of MSCL, will

The TIME 100 Gala, celebrating TIME’s 100 Most Influential People in the World, was host to a myriad of celebs last night.
The “influential” bunch arrived at the Lincoln Center donning some of their best and worst dresses, strutting down the red carpet before heading inside.
Guests included Lena Dunham, Claire Danes, Jimmy Kimmel, Jimmy Fallon, Olivia Munn and many more.
Of course, power couple Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel attended too!

Unfortunately, wearing an expensive designer frock doesn't automatically make a person look good.
Claire Danes seemed completed overwhelmed by her animal-print Lanvin dress at the TIME 100 Gala in Manhattan on Tuesday night.
This would've worked so much better if the skirt was straight instead of flared and pleated. As it stands, it gives off some really awkward schoolgirl vibes!
The Homeland actress also should've ditched that tribal necklace — it doesn't work with the dress's high neckline.
On the bright side, her bouncy hair, light makeup, and black Jimmy Choos looked great, as did her hubby Hugh Dancy.
Lose some, but then totally win some! Ha!

Claire Danes, leading lady of the Showtime hit Homeland, recently made a HUGE purchase — a new homeland for her new family of three!!
Claire and her husband, Hugh Dancy, decided that a $6.8 million townhouse in Manhattan’s West Village was the PERFECT nesting ground to raise their newborn son, Cyrus Michael Christopher.
The five-bedroom home is four-stories high and features a bright, stylish living area with plenty of outdoor space. The place ALSO includes a courtyard, a terrace, a library, a roof garden, stunning views, an open plan kitchen, and preeettttyy much everything a dream home would EVER contain!!
Claire sold her Soho home in November to make way for this bigger-and-better model.
We’re so happy for Danes and her fam and hope she’s enjoying the new place! In the meantime, we’ll just enjoy it vicariously through the photo gallery (below)!!

New York City currently has 40/50 degree weather, but that ain't stopping Claire Danes from going outside to get her fitness on!
Since the Homeland actress gave birth to her son, Cyrus about four months ago, she's using her spare time to jog around the West Village in order to keep her post-baby bod looking right.
However, considering that it didn't seem like Claire even gained one pound after she gave birth, we don't think she's trying to lose weight, which leads us to think that all she's doing is staying healthy.
Which is also AH-MAYZING!
Do your thing girl!!
