Yet another celeb who didn't get the "punk theme" memo.
But, at least Claire Danes still looks pretty.
The Homeland star wore a shimmery beaded J Mendel gown to the Met Gala tonight that looked like it could have been ripped right out of one of Jay Gatsby's parties! And the way it draped across her body was absolutely perfect.
Miz Danes definitely went for more flapper than punk rocker, but at least she wore a dramatic eye to make things a little more hardcore.

Pure perfection!
Claire Danes did America right as she added the white and blue to the red carpet at the White House Correspondents' dinner!
In a baby blue Prada dress detailed with white crystal beading, Claire looks wonderfully flawless for a night of political fun.
Her hair doesn't have a strand out of place, and could the beautiful momma look anymore fresh face?!
If we HAD to find a little imperfection, we suppose we wouldn't have minded a little bling on her wrists.
But we'll let it slide because - c'mon - it's PRADA!

Unfortunately, wearing an expensive designer frock doesn't automatically make a person look good.
Claire Danes seemed completed overwhelmed by her animal-print Lanvin dress at the TIME 100 Gala in Manhattan on Tuesday night.
This would've worked so much better if the skirt was straight instead of flared and pleated. As it stands, it gives off some really awkward schoolgirl vibes!
The Homeland actress also should've ditched that tribal necklace — it doesn't work with the dress's high neckline.
On the bright side, her bouncy hair, light makeup, and black Jimmy Choos looked great, as did her hubby Hugh Dancy.
Lose some, but then totally win some! Ha!

Claire Danes might want to consider getting a new stylist, STAT!
We can love the talent of the actress, but this Givenchy gown is just not protecting her fashion Homeland.
To be fair, it's the whole look that's reminiscent of the depressing side of the 90s.
Now if she's trying to travel back in time to My So-Called Life, then brava all around!

No thorns for this beautiful blooming rose!
It's hard to stand out on the red carpet when you're wearing the same color, but Claire Danes did just that wearing a long tomato red Versace wrap gown for the Golden Globes.
She's currently nominated for Best Actress In A Drama TV Series for her role in Showtime's Homeland AND she gave birth to her son Cyrus Dancy just LAST MONTH… Although, you wouldn't be able to tell because her post-baby bod looks incredible!
If we could find a fault with her look, it would have to be her makeup, ESPECIALLY her eyes! Way too heavy on the liner. Doesn't mesh well with the other neutral colors. Still, she looks just fabulous!
Congrats to an amazing year, Claire!

Diva being her of course!
Even though Claire Danes got the cover, Naomi Campbell owned the inside of Elle's February issue.
The supermodel showed what’s made her The Face for decades in the Thomas Whiteside-shot spread where she stuns in long, elegant designs from Azzedine Alaia, Alexander McQueen, Dolce & Gabbana, Louis Vuitton, Zac Posen, Givenchy by Riccardo Tisci, Thom Browne and Veronique Leroy.
This was clearly done before her mysterious leg injury because she rocks her sky high Manolo Blahniks.
We’re glad Naomi is back in the spotlight, because she was made to do this!
