Fashion Week News Archive
Kanye West has all sorts of opinions about the fashion industry.
The Bound 2 rapper recently showed his latest Yeezus collection in New York for Fashion Week, but he in no way feels like he had it easy.
Remember when NYFW creator Fern Mallis totally brushed him off as a designer last year??
Well, he said it was his "fame" that got in the way, but now he's referencing an entirely different reason. In an interview with SHOWstudio on Tuesday, he confessed:
This happens far too often!
In its S/S 2016 presentation on Tuesday Valentino showed 90 looks for its Africa-inspired collection.
Calling the collection "primitive, tribal, spiritual, yet regal," the brand featured mostly white models sporting corn-rows, and only 10 of the looks were modeled by women of African descent.
And there were only eight black models total, out of 87!
The glaring contrast between the theme and the lack of models of color upset quite a few people, who called out the famous Italian fashion label for taking inspiration from African culture without at least having more African models actually present the clothing.
Cara Delevingne & Girlfriend St. Vincent Get Lovey-Dovey At Chanel — And Cara Shows Her Butt Cheeks!
Love is in the air at the Chanel S/S 2016 presentation!
We bet lots of people wish they had a supermodel girlfriend who'd get them a front row seat at the most coveted show during Fashion Week, but St. Vincent can actually boast about that being her reality!
The two appeared to enjoy the show and looked totally adorable cozying up to each other!
At the end Cara gave Karl a big hug and exposed her butt cheeks!
Behold the fierceness!
The supermodel was quite a sight in pinstriped high-waisted pants and a bandeau bra top with an off-white coat worn "editor-style" over her shoulders. Upon a closer look it might even be a cut-out strapless jumpsuit!
Kenny took it a step further and added white sneakers and a fringed scarf to the ensemble. Wild! She's not afraid to take a risk!
Loves it, or is the scarf a little much???
The soon-to-be-20-year-old also hit the runway of course in two looks: a baggy black number and a classic Chanel tweed suit!
Seriously. It's been about two years since they last time they showed up to one of these.
We can only imagine the surprise of fellow attendees!
Plus, Janet looked so casual about it, sleekly dressed in a black poncho, harem pants, and boots — though there really was no blending in with the rest of the guests!
Who could miss the Unbreakable songstress??
Dayum. While everyone is usually talking about the supermodels, we think Janet's name will the one on everyone's lips.
We wonder where she'll show up next!

Paris Fashion Week is far from over!
And once you've seen her chosen look, you'll know why.
The 20-year-old looked like a goddess walking the runway in a pleated yellow gown, complete with an embroidered bodice!
Oh, and did we mention her cleavage??
Gigi was practically spilling out due to the gorgeous number's plunging, low-cut neckline, probably leaving the front row in awe!
Take that, body shamers!

Nothing like having your lady love at your side to support you — especially when she's slaying it in a Versace gown, H. Stern jewelry, and Casadei heels. LOVES it!
Since their budding love sparked earlier this summer, it seems as though the cute couple are as strong as ever since they aren't shy about packing on the PDA. Aww!
In fact, the twosome even attended Eli Mizrahi's Founding Member launch party during New York's Fashion Week and appeared to be very much in love.
