Our hearts break for Lea Michele.
The 29-year-old revealed on Monday that her beloved grandmother had recently passed away.
The beauty shared:
"I lost my beautiful grandma this week.. She wasn't your typical grandma. She gave me my first cup of coffee when I was 8 years old. She said something inappropriate to every boyfriend I've ever had. She never made pie or knit me a sweater. But she was my grandma and I loved her… More than anything.. I love you Grandma. ❤️ @prospect_tattoos Bronx NY"
Such a sweet honor!
Monteith played the star quarterback — donning jersey #5 — on the FOX hit show, so the tribute is extra sentimental.

Of course, this bonding time with her former on-screen beau comes only a month after Miz Michele's split from Matthew Paetz. As you may know, Matthew broke up with Lea after dating for two years and getting her past the highly publicized death of her late love Cory Monteith.
Oh man! Nonetheless, it seems that the Scream Queens starlet couldn't be happier as she and Groff were all smiles and on the verge of hysterics in the pic (above). She wrote:
We're so happy for Lea Michele.
In a appearance on the Fempire podcast with hosts Becca Tobin (Lea's bestie), Keltie Knight, and Jac Vanek, Miz Michele couldn't help but gush about her 30-year-old love:
"At the end of the day, this industry is really tough, and the only way to get through is to create a solid unit, and that's really what we've been since day one. We've stood by each other through anything that was thrown our way. [Matt] is a such a great man that he would never really let anything like that ever crack our lovely little core that we've created."
Paetz also completely respects Michele's past relationship and loss:
"He is very respectful towards the person that I was with, and that, again, is something I love so much about him. I really know that Cory would love him too."
All the feels!!
"I really would love to be best friends with Chrissy Teigen. I feel like she would cook for me, she would defend bullies for me. I would go to their house and John Legend would be singing or naked in a shower somewhere… I feel like me and Matt would be really good friends with them."
LOL! Join the club, sister!

Especially so with former flame Lea Michele.
In the October issue, the 28-year-old shared how she found love after Cory's death:
Our hearts are so filled with love!
Monday marks the second anniversary of Cory Monteith's tragic death.
Although the Glee star succumbed to a drug and alcohol overdose, his memory still lives on in those closest to him.
Including his former flame Lea Michele.
That same day, the 28-year-old actress took to Twitter to remember her former co-star and boyfriend.
Awwe, you'll always be with us, Cory!
We may be done with Glee, which aired its series finale on March 20 after six seasons on Fox, but the show brings us one last treat on their upcoming DVD in the form of an ode to the late star Cory Monteith (below).
Cory's death, which happened in July 2013 of a drug overdose at the age of 31, was quite a shock to both fans of the show and the cast. Cory and his character, Finn Hudson, received a special episode dedicated to him, but he was so impactful and important to the show they needed to say one last special goodbye.
Us Weekly got an exclusive peek at the DVD extra which has the cast and creators talking about Cory's impact on the show and how much they truly miss him.
One of the actors, Mike O'Malley, who played Monteith's step-father remembers Monteith by saying:
Lea Michele is loving love!
On Sunday, the Scream Queens star took to Instagram to give BF, Matthew Paetz a shout-out for his birthday.
