He lied!

Soccer stud Cristiano Ronaldo has accepted a world record transfer offer from Real Madrid.

He will be leaving Manchester United to play with the Spanish club for a hefty $131 million.

A rep for United said, "At Cristiano's request — who has again expressed his desire to leave — and after discussion with the player's representatives, United have agreed to give Real Madrid permission to talk to the player. Matters are expected to be concluded by 30 June."

Cristiano Ronaldo and Manchester United nabbed the Premier League trophy for the third time on Saturday in Manchester!

Well, of course they did!

Manchester United played Arsenal at the Barclays Premier League match at Old Trafford and hottie Ronaldo gave their winning trophy a big ol' smooch after Manchester United's victory.

Oh, to be that hunk of metal!

Last night, Manchester United played against FC Porta at the Dragao Stadium in Porto, Portugal. And hottie Cristiano Ronaldo just happened to make an amazing goal on a 40-yard drive.

He scored the only goal in the game, which ultimately led to their victory!

As for what Ronaldo thought of his efforts, he said smiling, "It was a fantastic strike and I can't wait to see it again on DVD. I am very happy with it. It is the best goal I have scored."

And, luckily for us, that score meant Crissy took off his shirt to celebrate.

Money always talks!

Super soccer giants Manchester United are reportedly set to offer Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo a $14.5 million/year contract.

They're supposedly throwing the big bucks at studly Ronnie so he'll stay in England and out of Spain!

Last year, Real Madrid was this close to nabbing Crissy!

$14.5 million comes out to about $279K a week during the soccer season.

Wonder if Madrid will offer Ronnie more money to play with them?!

It's only a matter of time!

Spanish soccer giants Real Madrid (David Beckham's old team), failed to acquire the world's #1 footie Cristiano Ronaldo last year.

But, it looks like 2009 may be the lucky year for them.

A Sky Sports soccer insider has reported that Crissy and the Spaniards have a 'secret' deal in place that would get the superstar to Madrid by the summer.

The team supposedly has $150+ million to pay Ronnie to play for them.

Soccer experts break that down to about $320K a week to play for Real Madrid.

Dayum, Crissy!

You can buy a new Ferrari every month with that cash!

Hey may not be much of a driver, but….

The immensely talented soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo took home ANOTHER big award on Monday.

The legendary Pele (Pele!!) presented Ronnie with the 2008 FIFA world player of the year award at a big soccer shindig in Switzerland.

He is the first Premier League (England's pro soccer league)-based player to win FIFA's top individual award.

Sidenote: David Beckham was the runner-up twice.

His trophy case is getting packed.

In 2008 Ronnie also won the FIFPro World Player of the Year award, UEFA Club Footballer of the Year award, the European Golden Boot AND European Fooballer of the Year prize.

Congrats again, Ronnienaldo!

We're glad he's OK!

On Thursday morning, Manchester United superstar, the hottness that is Cristiano Ronaldo, completely wrecked his $300K Ferrari in a Manchester Airport tunnel.

He apparently lost control of the car in the tunnel, hit the wall and sent parts of the barrier separating the two-way tunnel across lanes.

Ronnie, surprisingly, was able to get himself out of that mangled mess!

A witness said, “Ronaldo was just standing at the side of the road looking forlorn and bewildered."

And after the crash madness, Ronnie attended a Manchester United practice session!

What dedication.

Someone's guardian angel worked overtime today!
