We. Can't. Wait.
Leah Remini has been dishing dirt on Scientology ever since she split from the church back in 2013.
At the time, the reality TV star mentioned writing a memoir about her experiences with the religion from childhood to adulthood. However, since we hadn't heard a thing about this tell-all — we figured the idea got scrapped, or it was just all talk to begin with.
But glory be to Xenu because it's REAL, y'all!
Video: Leah Opens Up About Leaving Scientology!
On Thursday, Ballantine Books announced the actress' story — titled Troublemaker: Surviving Hollywood and Scientology — will hit shelves on
Kirstie Alley is a devout Scientologist, and when she's angry at a former friend of hers (and former Scientologist), she's going to fight back.
And she did! She's totally pissed at Leah Remini for all the things she's said about Scientology, and that was BEFORE she knew that Leah landed a spot on DWTS!
Now she's twice as pissed, because that used to be HER gig! Apparently she feels "absolutely stunned" and "extremely betrayed" that DWTS would even dare to ask Leah on the show!
Apparently, she is:
If you were a major member of a 'religion' that left and began speaking against it, would it surprise you to hear that they were bad-mouthing you?
Leah Remini has NOT been silent about her distaste for her former affiliation with Scientology, and while that can be hard (Scientology is notorious for allegedly harassing ex-members), we're kinda disturbed to hear that she believes that because she's been so vocal the church wants her to FAIL during Dancing With The Stars!
Here's what Leah said:
We lurvz us some Brad Pitt and Bono!!! And we're not alone…
Evidently the Church of Scientology were big fans of these big names too and reportedly tried to recruit BOTH of them to join the religion back in the day!
And they came pretty darn close too!
Brad studied Scientology in the early '90s while dating actress and long-time follower of the Church, Juliette Lewis. At that time, Pitt was involved in the "Purification Rundown" to try and kick a drug habit - a program Juliette claimed helped her overcome her own addictions.
It didn't take long for Brad to realize the religion (or Juliette) wasn't for him, but according to the niece of Church leader David Miscavige, the organization was determined to make him a member!
Jenna Miscavige Hill, who escaped from Scientology herself after 21 years inside, is now detailing what she says were plans drawn up by the Church to enlist Pitt and U2 frontman Bono! She says when it comes to recruiting new celebrity members, it's all about name recognition. Jenna explained:
It was bound to happen eventually — no pun intended!
When Leah Remini said sayonara to the Church of Scientology earlier last month, we had no idea her departure would be so dramatic!!!
Though she touched upon her reasons already, the 47-year-old actress has much, much more to say!
In fact, she plans on putting all those delicious deets into her forthcoming book!
She spoke recently about her planned memoir:
When Tom Cruise married Katie Holmes in 2006, he could have chosen any number of people to serve as his best man. Who he chose though was good friend and leader of the Church of Scietology, David Miscavige.
Amongst the many invited guests at TomKat's wedding was fellow Scientologist at the time, Leah Remini. It was here that Leah asked David a question that she wasn't supposed to: "where's your wife?"
According to Tony Ortega, an anti-Scientology journalist and the first to report on Leah's split from the Church, Miscavige's wife Shelly has been missing for years, secretly stashed away by Scientology's top-brass for reasons unknown.
After Leah questioned why Shelly had suddenly disappeared, she was told that she didn't have a high enough rank in the Church to ask about Shelly's whereabouts!
Well, if there's one thing we know about Leah, it's that she doesn't take lip from ANYBODY!
After the wedding, Leah wrote
One of Scientology's most famous followers, Leah Remini, is breaking her silence following her decision to leave the Church!
After word spread of her renouncement yesterday, Leah received A TON of support and encouragement, that she now says is helping her get through this difficult time. Leah thanked her well-wishers in a statement, saying:
