Katy Perry was found IN TEARS after Broadway’s Kinky Boots finale.
And we can’t blame her!! Kinky Boots is touching and inspiring and everything a production nominated for 13 Tony Awards should be!!!!!
An onlooker who saw Katy Kat said the following:
The Tony Award nominee list is out! And it looks like this just might be Cyndi Lauper’s year! Her musical collaboration with Harvey Fierstein, resulting in the new Broadway hit Kinky Boots, is garnering quite the attention with 13 Tony nominations!
What’s more? Tweens are dominating the musical theater awards with 12 nods for Matilda, 10 for Pippin and 9 for Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella!
But we’re have to admit we’re a little stumped by the play nominees! While Tom Hanks has got himself a Best Actor in a Play nomination, that list is looking a little empty. Where’s Al Pacino?! As for the ladies, no Bette Midler?!
Ch-ch-check out the full nomination list…AFTER THE JUMP!!!

When Cyndi Lauper and Harvey Fierstein decided to head down to the NYC subway, they really just wanted to check out the new ads for their Broadway show Kinky Boots.
Instead, the 80's icon was met with innnneresting fan reactions, including a woman who may have shared a little too much information!
A source revealed:
Better watch it, Donald Trump, you are not making many friends these days!
And now you’ve upset an absolute legend.
Cyndi Lauper, who once appeared on Celebrity Apprentice, is none too happy with Donald’s recent comments opposing same-sex marriage.
We're right there with her!
Donald recently admitted, to no one's surprise, he is not such a fan of same-sex marriage, and we are so proud Cyndi is not letting him get away with these foolish comments.
She spoke out about the whole debate:
