When an actress is spotted with some random dude, everyone immediately thinks they're dating.

And when two star siblings are spotted with a dynamic designing duo, everyone immediately thinks they're designing a collection together!

Dakota and Elle Fanning attended the Met Gala last Monday with Kate and Laura Mulleavy of Rodarte, naturally wearing their designs.

Since the actresses have shown Rodarte much love throughout their red carpet careers, this led some news outlets to begin with the rampant speculation.

A fashion spy even confirmed the collaboration, saying:

Dakota Fanning flew all the way to Singapore to attend the Chanel Cruise 2014 presentation on Thursday.

NO BIG DEAL!

The actress was completely decked out in Chanel, from her strapless rosette dress and shoulder bag to her chain-embellished booties.

LOVING the luxe look, but the limp, boring hair really takes it down a few notches.

Even a simple top knot would've been better.

It's like she has the same hairdresser as Gwyneth Paltrow!

Elle and Dakota Fanning are rockin' the Rodarte!

And while Dakota at least tried to be punk with the sheer panels and all black, we're definitely feeling more of a flower power vibe with tie-dyed Elle. We're not saying that's a good thing though…

But hey, her eye make-up totally defies tradition, so that counts!

Would this Met Gala really be complete without the fashionista sisters???

Maybe.

But we're glad to see them anyways! Such joys!!

Pink is the new blonde!

Dakota Fanning strolled through the streets of NYC on Monday with a coffee in hand and fuchsia streaks in hair!

The actress had her green knit Alexander Wang beanie pulled down low and was all bundled up in a gray wool Whistles coat as she sipped on her iced latte.

Guess she wanted to cool down her insides while keeping her outside warm!

But back to the pink hair — we like it and hope she keeps it for a while!

If she'd been born a decade earlier, Dakota Fanning could've easily been on the Mickey Mouse Club with Britney Spears, Justin Timberlake, Ryan Gosling, and Christina Aguilera.

But instead, she has to settle for rocking a red Marc Jacobs Mickey Mouse sweater on the cover of Glamour's March issue.

And boy does she work it!

Somebody actually got a little dressed up at Sundance!

We were kind of getting tired of pants and sweaters all the time, so we're glad Dakota Fanning chose to be a bit fancy at the premiere of her film Very Good Girls on Tuesday.

The uber talented 18-year-old wore head to toe Louis Vuitton, including a sequined navy mini skirt and sleeveless ribbed top that bared just a hint of belly.

She completed the ensemble with sheer black tights and black suede booties.

Whoa, Elle Fanning has really grown UP! Ha!

The younger Fanning dwarfed older sis Dakota as the two announced their partnership with luxury jewelry brand J. Estina in Seoul, South Korea on Monday.

Despite the somewhat jarring height difference, however, the stylish sibs looked pretty in ultra femme dresses and bow-adorned footwear.

Elle was flirty in a floral print Opening Ceremony A-line frock and patent pink Miu Miu platforms.

We love that she gave her look some oomph with a studded snakeprint J. Estina clutch.

Nice touch!

Dakota was a bit more risque in a white lacy Nina Ricci dress that gave a peek at her bra, shiny heeled Miu Miu loafers, and J. Estina jewels.

We can't pick a fave!
