One played Harry Potter on screen in Harry Potter, the other played Harry Potter in A Very Potter Musical. Now Darren Criss is taking over Daniel Radcliffe's role in the Broadway production of How to Succeed In Business Without Really Trying — and they only just met!

Daniel confirmed that to duo had a "Lovely" meeting. But sadly, it wasn't documented. Dan Rad explains:

DanRad with an American accent?!

Everyone's favorite wizard appeared along SNL cast member Jason Sudeikis for his promos for his hosting stint.

In the promos, he tries to explain the episode but it seems Jason just can't figure out where the DanRad is coming from…

But to top it off, DanRad breaks out his American accent!!!

Movie star. Broadway Babe. Now TV host?!

Now that his wizarding days are over, Dan Rad is ready to tackle his next big challenge as host of Saturday Night Live.

The actor says he's excited about the deadline heavy SNL and comments on his hosting stint:

"I got paid so well for doing the Harry Potter films, it's ridiculous. If somebody asked me, 'Did you think you deserve that money?' No, of course I didn't. 'But would you have taken it anyway?' Of course. I happened to have found this industry where people get paid stupid amounts of money. That's the reality. I feel almost guilty for having done so well out of Potter. There is a sense that you have to do something. I feel Brad Pitt would agree that the way to help is to really get behind things that you're passionate about, like The Trevor Project. You have to give back."

The actor says he's not easy to love and says his gal pal Rosie Coker has seen and heard a lot of craziness!

He goes on by saying:

We're sad to see him go, even though we're VERY, VERY excited for the guy who is replacing him!

Last night was Daniel Radcliffe's last time in a bowtie as he took his final bow in How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying.

Fans far and wide trekked to see DanRad one last time and at the show's close, he read a little speech aloud about his time on the show that was just so tender and moving!
