It looks like Tracy Morgan is making his way back to comedy!
It was announced on Monday that the next batch of Hollywood stars would be getting — well, their stars — on the famous Hollywood Walk of Fame!
And among the crop of talent, Tracy is slated to finally get his!
13 years, that's how long it's been…
Sure there was a mediocre movie back in 2008 that brought Mulder and Scully back together, but it didn't have the same heart to it. And yes, David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson have gotten together to sing a song or two, but this is the REAL DEAL!
Back in 2002 when X-Files went off the air, viewers felt that they REALLY had the Mulder and Scully love flame fanned and we're hoping this new series will reignite that magic!
Now that all of the pieces have fallen into place, the actors are back on set and officially filming the six episode revival series of the X-Files for Fox and we have your first little peek at Mulder and Scully on set! Ch-ch-check it out (below)
The actor spoke with Entertainment Weekly and he not only had some news about the X-Files revival mini-series on Fox next year but he admitted to some tears too! During the interview, Duchovny originally said of the show, "I can tell you absolutely nothing—and it's fantastic," but later went on to talk about a couple tidbits he knows!
David said that he's already received the first script for the show and he's read it. Surprisingly he said that while reading it, he started crying. He recounts:
That's right, Mulder and Scully are back sooner than you thought!
Last night, in celebration of David Duchovny's debut album, Hell or Highwater, which dropped yesterday, he stopped by The Cutting Room in New York City last night to sing some of his tunes! Not only that, but guests were treated to a surprise appearance from none other than Agent Dana Scully, aka Gillian Anderson!
When Gillian joined David on stage for his band's encore performance, she asked, "Can we play some real music please?" At which point her leading man asked her what she felt like and she requested, Neil Young's Helpless.
The co-stars looked to be having a blast on stage, smiling, bumping fists, and sharing a quick kiss at the end. We can't wait for X-Files to return next year! But in the meantime, ch-ch-check out the adorbs video of the pair singing Helpless together (below).
It was only a matter of time before Hank Moody made some tunes, right?!
So, the 54-year-old went ahead and recorded Hell or Highwater, which has finally been released! To celebrate this moment, Mr. Duchovny performed his title track on Tuesday's edition of Today!
What we love about this album is that David isn't trying to be Kanye West, he's just a guy with a guitar who has some stuff to sing about!
Ch-ch-check it out (below) and tell us what you think!
P.S. It's NOT only on Tidal, because David is a man of the people.
Do you want to believe again?
Well it's official! We've been patiently waiting for some official news ever since Fox announced they're bringing X-Files back after leaving the airwaves back in 2002, and now we have an official airdate for its return!
The network made the announcement that it will be airing the first of the six-episode series event on
The 54-year-old will be starring in the new historical crime drama that centers around the notorious criminal Charles Manson in 1967.
Duchovny will be playing a police sergeant set to hunt down Manson, the famed criminal and musician who began what became known as the Manson Family — a commune that was based in California in the late 60s.
In the 70's, Manson was found guilty of conspiracy to commit the murders of seven people, including actress Sharon Tate.
