If you asked us who the last person we'd ever guess would be singing the praises of taking steroids, it would probably be Tom Hanks! We wish he was our cool uncle — why would we EVER assume he takes steroids??
Well he does, but not to bulk up!
On Letterman's show last night (above), Tom opened up his love for steroids… and how they cure the common cold!
Of course, he delivers the story about how he finds this to be a true fact in usual Tom Hanks fashion. He's just so damn charming!

After going through two unfortunate interviews last week, it looks like Ryan Lochte finally sought help for how to answer questions!
While on the Late Show with David Letterman, the host tried his best to get 'dumb' answers out of the Olympic swimmer, and even though he did stumble over some replies, he actually made it out of the interview scot-free.
However, since Ryan answered questions correctly, Letterman awarded the 28-year-old hunk with a round of applause for every time he did something right. LOLz
Guess when you have a bad rep, then all anyone can do is give positive feedback for any good that's done! Ha!

David Letterman is pretty quick to nab hot-in-the-news peeps for his legendary Top 10 lists, and this week he grabbed University of Louisville's point guard, Kevin Ware!
If you remember (you've been having nightmares for the past week about it, don't lie!), Kevin was the one who broke his leg during the Midwest Regional final against Duke, shattering his shin so hard that it burst out of his skin. Now, he's everywhere talking about it, and even got to present David Letterman‘s Top Ten List Thursday, detailing the ten thoughts that ran through his mind when his leg exploded (above)!
It's gross, yeah, but his sense of humor and resiliency is amazeballs! Check it out!

The Fashion Police diva made an appearance on The Late Show with David Letterman to recap what went down at the Oscars on Sunday, and while she was there… instead of just talking smack about the fashion — she cracked jokes about Adele's weight.
New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie has been a pretty polarizing political figure.
Many initially disliked him for his policies regarding education and some large budgets cuts.
Then Hurricane Sandy hit and totally changed the game.
He reacted swiftly and did everything he could to help those affected by the storm.
Though he's still the butt of many jokes about his weight. Which isn't cool.
David Letterman was one of those jokesters.
So Gov. Christie went on Letterman to settle the score!!
Does Letterman catch a beating?? Do they kiss and make up?

Joe Flacco, as quarterback for the Baltimore Ravens, earned his MVP title during this most recent Super Bowl! He overcame adversity to get there, too — like having an alleged murderer on his team, and of course the massive blackout right after half time!
Being MVP means a lot of things, though, that the other teammates don't get to do — like ride in a Corvette in a parade at Disney, then flying to NYC to be on Letterman!
Once there, Letterman got to business and asked about the blackout, and how suspicious it was:
Well, at least it isn't a mountain of cocaine!

Still, smoking is a pretty awful thing. It smells bad, and it kills you. We're not sure why ANYONE would want to do it — even a self-proclaimed loose cannon like Charlie Sheen!
Charlie was spotted outside of The Late Show with David Letterman in NYC, where he promptly hammed it up while taking his smoke break.
We have to admit, he's in VERY good spirits!
