In Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, the deer don't take no crap from nobody!
A 72-year-old man was out hunting with a crossbow on the Peebles Trail near Highway K in the town of Taycheedah (we swear none of these locations are made up), in case you're familiar with the area and terrified of violent deer.
It'd probably be a good area to stay away from, because the deer here sound pretty damn tough!
The man apparently wounded a doe with an arrow and later went back to track the deer. That's when the creature sprung its trap!
An officer involved in the case said:
An experiment was set up in the woods one day to test a new invention:
The electrified deer carcass!
Wait… what?? Yeah… it was electrified "to protect hunters' game kills and, in turn, to minimize bear-human encounters."
Well, we guess that's one way to do it.
Unless you run across a smart, determined bear like the one in this vid!!
These Canadian caribou went for one wild ride down the Porcupine River in Old Crow, Yukon!
The herd was together when suddenly the sheet of ice that they were standing on broke apart and sent them down stream!
A local woman grabbed her video camera and recorded the reindeer as they passed by!
There are few things better than an animal being rescued.
We love when humans go out of the way to save cutie critters.
Especially when that critter is a big stag!!
There was some seriously heavy snowfall in East Tyrol, Austria and some skiers were enjoying the fresh powder, until they eventually came across
Wow! This is so super AH-mazing!
It's pretty cool to live in a time where the term "hovercraft rescue" isn't actually all that surprising.
What better way to travel safely across a frozen lake than by hovercraft? Well, MedCity Hovercraft was a big help when it came time to rescue some deer who were trapped onto the frozen ice of Albert Lea Lake in Minnesota.
The animals were stranded, unable to move their way across the slippery ice at all, but thankfully, these men found out through Facebook that three deer were stranded on the ice, because they sprung into action!
Quick! To the hovercraft!!
Check out their amazing rescue AFTER THE JUMP!!!
In Evergreen, Colorado, Elk aren't an uncommon sight.
They're beautiful, majestic animals and sometimes, they can be pretty funny.
A family was just sitting down for morning coffee when they spotted a young Elk investigating their trampoline.
The little baby then decided to pop in and go for a bounce!
The tiny one actually looked like it got stuck in the trampoline and others came to help!
At first we thought the baby was distressed but it actually looks like he's having a bit of fun!
Check out the video (above) to watch a cute elk play around on a trampoline!
