This is good news!
Demi Lovato may have had her fair share of problems with bulimia, self harming, alcohol abuse and bipolar disorder, but after she went to rehab, she was able to think back on the things she did and change her life.
In a recent interview, the 20-year-old sensation talked about when she went to rehab and what having a lot of 'friends' really means.
Here are the HIGHlights:

Demi Lovato was spotted taking a dip in the beautiful Barbados ocean on Tuesday, with a mystery man!!!
Just kidding! It was only her bodyguard!
We saw some pictures before of him helping Demi cover up with a towel, but the cameras still got a glimpse of that bikini bod.
And we can never get enough of a good thing!

One of the best things about Demi Lovato, other than how kind and caring she is, is that she is ALWAYS open and honest about her struggles with eating disorders. She is never silent about how hard it is to control her own thoughts on her body image.
The world and young women are better because of this!

It wasn't too long ago that Katie Couric decided it was time to share her struggle with bulimia in an effort to help others.
The reveal shocked so many because it came out of nowhere!
She really first opened up about her problem when Demi Lovato was talking about her own battle with eating disorders as a guest on Katie's show last year.
Katie said:

We previously mentioned that when Demi Lovato was on Katie Couric's show Katie, Couric revealed she used to suffer from bulimia.
She was courageous enough to come clean on TV and is glad she did it, saying:

Eating disorders are waaaaay too prevalent in our society, and shouldn't exist altogether.
They do exist, though, which means that there are those struggling out there who need help.
Demi wants to help — she wants you to know her story. So she went on Katie and told it (above) — and explained to the world how she suffered from bulimia.
