After the alleged incident, a source told E! News that the 46-year-old completely alone, saying:
"James was not in the right mind for months. Mariah was in essence an abandoned woman."

Happy Birthday, Hillary Clinton!
The presidential hopeful turns 69 today, and she's already had quite the celebration — complete with cake and wonder!
Early this morning, traveling Press Secretary for Hillary Clinton, Nick Merrill, took to Twitter to share some pics (above) of Hil being ADORABLY surprised with a cake by her staff! So cute!
But the fun didn't stop there as the Democrat got an even BIGGER surprise when she was doing an interview on The Breakfast Club radio show, and Stevie Wonder stopped by! What's ever better is the Grammy winner showed up wearing a jacket that said "first female prez"! YAAAS!
After a little egging on by the hosts, Wonder played his 1980s song Happy Birthday for just for Clinton — with a tweaked ending as he sang, "Go out and vote."
Ch-ch-check out Stevie gifting Hillary with a special Happy Birthday song (below) and make sure you get out and vote November 8!
The rapper has made no secret of his support of Frank Ocean, and is, like most, a huge fan of his new album.
But after learning neither of Ocean's 2016 albums, Blonde nor Endless, will be eligible for consideration for the year's Grammy awards, Yeezy is pissed!
And since Mr. West knows all too well that the Grammys have a history of bending the rules for other artists, he won't bother showing up to the ceremony if his friend and collaborator doesn't get the same treatment.
At the Oakland stop on his Saint Pablo tour, Ye addressed the crowd on the inner workings of the Recording Academy, and how they allegedly made exceptions for their eligibility rules — like Lady GaGa's 2010 Grammy performance.
Entering one of his now-expected stage rants, Kim Kardashian West's husband said:
He just wanted to get something off his chest!
It's only been a few days since Justin Bieber lost his cool a bit at his Purpose World Tour concert in Birmingham, England, but it appears something might still be bugging the Biebs as he got ticked at fans again Thursday night!
During the pop singer's stop in Manchester, England, the 22-year-old tried to talk to his fans about the meaning behind the Purpose title, but the crowd was just too damn noisy!
At one point, in the middle of speaking, JB offers the mic up to a fan down front because they apparently wouldn't stop talking. The Sorry singer even told the crowd:
"I thought I could have a moment to say something, but if you guys want I can cut the bullsh*t!"
The Grammy winner went on to add:
Oh yeah, and there's a new album on the way!
One EXTREME verse of the 44-year-old's latest work even states:
"Run the faucet,
Imma dunk a bunch of Trump supporters underwater.
Seeing as how Eminem hasn't released a track in a while, the famous artist also took the opportunity to make mentions of Trayvon Martin, Colin Kaepernick, and drop some lines about police shootings too!

We don't want to wait to say how much we love this!
And, of course, by performing his new single Love Me Now!
After playing the AH-Mazing love ballad on the grand piano in his house, the 37-year-old explained he gets his musical inspiration from his wife Chrissy Teigen (who obvi popped up for a cameo) and his 5-month-old daughter Luna!
Legend also revealed that Love Me Now will be included on his upcoming album Darkness & Light, which due out later this year!
As for if baby Luna inherited any of the Glory performer's musical talents, the father said:
"It's definitely too soon to tell, but I'm definitely going to act like I already know that she's going to be a great musician."
We wouldn't be the least bit surprised! Ch-ch-check out the full video (below) to hear Legend's new song and Q&A!
We're always in the mood for new music!
Jody Watley first made a name for herself as a member of Shalamar in the '70s before going solo as Best New Artist at the 1988 Grammy Awards… and she's STILL putting out hits to this day.
In fact, she may actually be better than ever now that she's found yet another supergroup in Shalamar Reloaded — henceforth known as SRL!
The soulful singer teamed up with Nate Allen Smith and Rosero McCoy earlier this year for their EP O.R.I.G.I.N.A.L., and we're honored to exclusively present their latest music video The Mood!
The trio filmed on location in Hawaii to support the track that perfectly blends classic soul with modern beats… and we COULD NOT be more about it.
Plus, if you like what you see/hear, you can pick up their LP Bridges in early 2017!
