Wow!!

Ryan Reynolds… not only is he one of the seXXXiest men alive, he's also the man who gave Denzel Washington his first black eye!

Yep, we'd say a retirement is justifiable at any time now, LOL!!!

During the filming of Safe House, things got pretty bad… Denzel says:

For the second year around, the sexiest Pirate ever the sail into cinemas has nabbed the #1 spot on the anuual Harris Poll of America's Favorite Actors. Oddly enough, his work in The Tourist didn't detour people away from loving them (although, it must've for Angelina Jolie; she was #5 last year and this year she dropped off completely!)

Strangely enough, it was the people who hadn't made films this past year that rounded out the top five, with the exception of Tom Hanks. Clint Eastwood and Denzel Washington tied for second place and following Hanks in fifth place is legendary screen icon John Wayne.

Hear that, Angie Pilgrim! You got bumped by the Duke!

Rounding out the list was George Clooney, Harrison Ford and the only female to make it this year, Sandra Bullock.

By the looks of this poster, we'd be willing to bet Blake Lively had one seXXy holidaze!!

Ryan Reynolds is starring in Safe House as a CIA agent on a mission to get Denzel Washington's criminal character to a location safe and sound.

We know this is gonna be one of the better roles in his career because he beat out two of Hollywood's hottest new actors for it: Tom Hardy and Zac Efron.

And c'mon, Denzel is doing it… there's no way this can suck. RyRy's face is a big plus!

Everyone ready for yet another '80s TV series set to be adapted into a movie?

No? Well too bad!

Sony Pictures and Escape Artist recently renewed their first look deal until 2015, and one of their first projects will be a new version of the old school CBS crime drama The Equalizer, which told the story of an aging New York vigilante with a mysterious past, with Denzel Washington stepping into the role that Edward Woodward originated!

Sony Pictures co-chairman Amy Pascal says:

So many good options…we can't decide!

We wonder if any of Denzel Washington's old professors would have guessed how much money he'd be putting back into their work.

The Oscar-winning actor recently donated $2.25 million to the theatre department at Fordham University.

$25,000 of the gift will go to a worthy undergraduate theatre student in the form of scholarship. The rest will be used to create the Denzel Washington Chair in Theatre.

Television and Broadway actress Phylicia Rashad has already filled the chair position! One of her duties includes teaching the class "Creating a Character."
