Denzel Washington is a different kind of celebrity! While a lot of famous people will go out with other well-known buddies and pose for the paparazzi, Denzel keeps his life close to his chest!
Now, that's not to say he's a recluse or anything, just that he doesn't have actor friends!! Here's what he said:
"Actually, even within the industry, I don't have any actor friends. My friends are old friends. One's an ex-music guy, the other's a restaurant owner and the other's an ex-pro ballplayer."
That's super inneresting, and a completely different kind of ethic than what we usually see in Hollywood! So why does he do this? Is there a reason behind it?
As if trying to nab an Oscar wasn’t hard enough, now all the contenders are fighting to see who is most popular with the fans!
And this year, stars with major celebrity power were competing for
prom king and queen the top spot.
In the E-Poll that ranked the celebs for appeal and awareness, it turned out that
Daniel Day-Lewis Wins Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor In A Leading Role! Watch His Acceptance Speech HERE!
Okay, not really… but everyone else was very good in this category and just as deserving.
The SAG Award for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor In A Leading Role went to Daniel Day-Lewis for his incredible work in Lincoln.
We loved what he said about actors bringing Lincoln back to life, and his shout out to to Joaquin Phoenix.
Class act, as always!
Daniel Day-Lewis JUST took home the Critics' Choice Award for Best Actor, Thursday. And noooow he's getting ANOTHER statue??
It's almost not fair. Almost.
Truth be told, DDL totally killed as Lincoln. He absolutely deserves the Golden Globe this year — and the odds are he'll win it again next year!
His fellow nominees shouldn't even bother showing up to the Oscars, LOLz!

When nominations come out during awards season, several films quickly become the clear "favorites" — and this year is no different!!
Similar to recently announced Critics’ Choice Awards nominees, Les Misérables, Lincoln, and Silver Linings Playbook lead in considerations for the Screen Actors Guild Awards with 4 nominations each.
In terms of television, we're definitely rooting for Jessica Lange to take home the trophy for her SPOOKTACULAR performance in American Horror Story: Asylum..lady is FIERCE.

Award season is just starting, but Steven Spielberg’s Lincoln is already breaking records!!
The film—with a star-studded cast including Daniel Day-Lewis, Tommy Lee Jones, and Sally Field— received a whopping 13 nominations for the 18th annual Critics’ Choice Movie Awards, beating Black Swan’s 12 nominations in 2011.
Other big stakeholders this awards season look to be Les Misérables with 11 nominations and Silver Linings Playbook with 10 nominations.
To be honest, we can’t even begin to predict who will win.
AllMost of the movies we’ve seen in 2012 have been great!
What we do know is that this year's red carpet will be ESPECIALLY HOT with babelicious actors like Jennifer Lawrence, Bradley Cooper, Anne Hathaway, Hugh Jackman, Ben Affleck, and Mila Kunis scoring nominations. YUM!!!
