Here's what she posted on the late comedienne's Facebook page:

Indie fans, listen up!
The screenwriter famous for penning Juno has been given the chance to direct her latest project, Lamb of God.
The holiday flick, to be produced by Mandate Pictures, won't be your typical warm and fuzzy, watch while you drink hot cocoa film. Instead, you'll follow a woman who loses faith in God after a horrific plane crash, but later meets up with him again as a sinful Vegas gal.
Oooh, dark Christmas plot meets indie writer humor. We likey!
Diablo Cody, having collaborated with Mandate before, is super eager to step into that little black chair. The writer states:
Showtime has officially cancelled the United States of Tara. It'll be calling it quits after this summer's third season, but we're sure Toni Collette will move on to other amazing things!
Here's why it's been cut:
Tara, created by Oscar-winning screenwriter Diablo Cody and executive produced by Steven Spielberg, premiered in 2009 to solid ratings, but began to diminish in viewership as seasons progressed. It premiered its current season to 411,000 total viewers and a 0.2 rating in the adults 18-49 demographic, down significantly from its Season 2 launch, when it averaged 816,000 and a 0.4.
Ouch, but hey, at least there might be enough time to throw together a wrap up episode now!
Are U disappointed in the show getting the axe??
