The deadites are coming…but not until 2013!
Last we heard about the Evil Dead remake, Sony Pictures had made a distribution deal for the FilmDistrict/Ghost House Pictures flick.
Now, we're hearing that the film has officially been given a release date of April 12, 2013!
We've also learned some new story details! In this version of the cult classic horror flick, a group of friends travel to a remote cabin where they find the Book of the Dead. After the book is read, the group must "fight to survive when a demonic force is unleashed."
Get ready for more deadites!
Back in July, we heard that Sam Raimi was planning a remake of his 1981 horror cult classic The Evil Dead!
We were kind of excited about it, especially because we'd heard that Sam was talking about making the movie for a low budget, just like he did for the original!
Now, we're hearing that Sony Pictures has made a deal to distribute the flick, which is being put together by FilmDistrict and Ghost House Pictures.
Here's what producer Rob Tapert had to say about the project in a statement:
Charlize Theron doesn't want to grow up.
Now the first trailer for the upcoming flick has been released!
Charlize's character gets into a tiff with another woman after an accident.
But she's still able to spot a nice sweater!
Check out the video above and see the trailer for Young Adult.
Wowsa! Between this SVH update and our gallery of 90s TV shows, we've been having a seriously nostalgic day!
Now, progress is being made on the SVH movie, and Diablo has got some updates for us:
We are SO excited for this movie!
Check out the just-released poster for the new movie from Jason Reitman and Diablo Cody, Young Adult, which stars Charlize Theron as a teen lit writer who returns to her hometown to try and steal back her high school sweetheart, who is now married (above)!
Between her role in this and as the Evil Queen in Snow White & The Huntsman, this is one hell of a year for Charlize, right?!
This is going to be too funny!
What do U think?? Are U going to see Young Adult??
