$1.7 million later, the Fashion for Sandy Relief Initiative auction presented by CFDA and Vogue has come to a close, and we are totally shocked by some of the results!

Who would have thought that a one-week internship with DKNY PR Girl Aliza Litch would garner more bids (34 in fact!) than meeting Anna Wintour at the 2013 Met Gala (a paltry 4 bids)?!

Kate Middleton is not afraid to wear the same thing twice, and to the same event!

The Duchess of Cambridge wore her familiar double-breasted Diane von Furstenberg coat for Remembrance Sunday services at the Cenotaph in London on Sunday. It was the same coat she wore during last year’s ceremony honoring war veterans.

But we’re not complaining!

During such a somber occasion, we don't expect fashion to be foremost on her mind.

Kate also recycled her Philip Treacy hat, which she first wore to Prince William's passing out ceremony in 2006.

A crystal Remembrance Poppy and Black & Co bow gloves completed the Duchess' outfit.

She really knows how to make everything old new again!

It was the dress that made her famous, after all!

Diane von Furstenberg shot to fame in 1974 when she divorced Prince von Furstenberg, and consequently designed the wrap dress!

The independent lady said she wanted a dress that stood for femininity, individuality and inner strength. DVF opened up about the story after a story claimed she was a kept woman.

She revealed:

Thirty designers and magazines, including Victoria Beckham, Tom Ford, Diane von Furstenberg and Vogue, have each designed a one-of-a-kind Pudsey Bear to raise money for a great cause!

Curated by Love magazine editor Katie Grand, the Pudseys will be auctioned on November 15th at Christie’s with all the proceeds going to the charity Children In Need.

The 24" bears will be on display at Selfridges in London and Manchester from October 24 to November 14, where you can buy 10" versions designed by Paul Smith and Anya Hindmarch.

Social shopping app Snapette has tapped Emma Roberts to be their fashion adviser!

The chic shopper will post pictures of what she bought and where so people know just how to steal her style.

She explained why it’s so great, saying:

"You can upload photos like on Instagram, but then it’s also like Yelp in a way — that you can find what stores are nearest to you, which is awesome. It’s great, because I’m always the kind of person that’s like, ‘Where did you get that?’ "

Roberts will also contribute to Snapette's blog to talk about her fave trends.

The app is free in the iTunes store, and became available for Droids today.

Snapette will also be partnering with Diane von Furstenberg, Vince Camuto and more!

The most powerful woman in fashion and CFDA president, Diane von Furstenberg, helped unveil a select few items designed by the 24 CFDA members on Good Morning America before pictures of the entire collection were released online.

So…was it worth the wait???
