DMX Says He "Didn't Mean" It

caught__opt.jpg

DMX says he didn't "mean to commit identity fraud."

He checked into an Arizona hospital under a false name and then left without paying the bill.

He claims to have used the alias to avoid receiving star struck attention, and that he gave the receptionist his cell phone number before ducking out so they could make arrangements for payment.

Yeah, we're sure the court will be down with that!

Right now, DMX is awaiting sentencing for 4 accounts of animal cruelty, drug possession, and theft in three separate cases.

But he didn't mean it! He's so misunderstood!

This Is What Happens When You Don't Pay Your Bills

The good news? We're not talking about him being in trouble with the law, for once.

The bad news? His personal life is in shambles!

Former hitmaker DMX's home is in foreclosure, up for sale and in shambles.

That's alright, he doesn't need it anyways. Jail is his new home!

Gotcha! DMX In Custody

caught.jpg

Well, that was fast.

DMX is now in custody.

He was arrested in Florida today, Tuesday.

We wonder if anyone is getting the $5000 reward?

Attorney Charles Kozelka says that DMX had been doing the Lindsay Lohan program, but realized that rehab is a good cover for only so long.

DMX will be making his way to Arizona shortly, where he faces drug possession, identity theft, and animal cruelty charges with a $120,000 cash bond.

He has pleaded not guilty to his charges.

But this looks like the end of the line for DMX!

He faces a $120,000 cash bond for charges of animal abuse, felony drug possession, traffic violations, and defrauding the Mayo Clinic of $7,500 in hospital bills.

DMX Has Got A Warrant Out For His Arrest

wenn1155942__opt.jpg

DMX is in trooouble. Again.

The rapper just failed to appear in a court in Arizona to face drug, identity theft, and animal cruelty charges.

So now there's a warrant out for his arrest.

And the cash bond ain't so kind either - a whopping $120,000.

Would have been cheaper to just go to court!

Word on the street is that DMX is in rehab, but that's still no excuse for the no show.

If he doesn't pay the 120k, he's going to jail!

Time To Pay The Piper

wenn1155942__opt.jpg

As we mentioned last month, rapper DMX was in Miami waiting for Arizona authorities to pick him up as he has to face drug and animal cruelty charges there.

Well, according to Maricopa County Sheriff's officials, DMX has been transfered and is now in custody in a Phoenix jail.

He's currently being held on a $25,000 cash bond.

No trial date has been set yet for his many offenses.

This has just been a year full of jail time and court cases for DMX.

Someone needs to go to rehab, and fast!

He's Guilty, Go Get 'Em!

dmx__opt1.jpg

Rapper DMX's legal problems just keep adding up.

As we mentioned earlier this week, a Miami-Dade county judge refused bail for DMX and sent him back to jail for a month.

So on Wednesday, DMX pleaded guilty to attempted cocaine and marijuana possession.

He was sentenced to time served.

As for his lawyer, Bradford Cohen, he says DMX is still in custody, waiting for the Arizona authorities to pick him up as he has to face drug and animal cruelty charges there.

Cohen says if DMX hadn't plead guilty, he would have had to stay in a Miami jail until October.

One way or another, he's likely to end up in jail again.

But, for now, he's free!!!

Sorta. He's free but awaiting extradition to face more charges in Arizona!

How Not To Win Friends and Influence People

dmxmugshot.jpg

We've just about lost count of all the arrests and troubles with the law that rapper DMX is facing.

And that's just this past year alone!

DMX was arrested in late August for being a no show at a previously scheduled court appearance in Arizona.

Then, in June he was arrested twice, within the same week, in Miami. Once for attempting to purchase cocaine and marijuana during a narcotics sting. The other time was for an outstanding arrest warrant for having no valid driver's license.

Now, the jail-friendly rapper has angered a Florida judge.

The reason?

DMX started to curse after he was refused bail.

The rapper was in a Miami-Dade court on Wednesday, facing drug possession charges. Though he was probably thinking he'd be released on bail.

However, the request was refused and the judge sent DMX back to jail for another month.

To that, DMX responded with, "I ain't going back to no fucking jail."

While most people are probably thinking that, you shouldn't really say it out loud in court.

And to his remark, the judge responded with, "Oh, well that just ingratiated you to me."

Ha!

Poor DMX. Whether he likes it or not, he's going to be spending a lot of time in jail.
