Dr. Oz News Archive
That's why we're not shocked to hear that Cameron was on Dr. Oz's show, because the doc is all about health and great bodies!
Plus, she talked about POOP! After chugging a bottle of water first, though!
The Body Book author, 41, chugged a whole LITER OF WATER and then talked all about POOP!!
We love how candid she is — and we totally love that she's cool with talking about poop, being a gorgeous actress and all!
You look great, Cameron! Watch her candid interview (above)!!
That's great and all, but a young woman has LOST HER FOOT. No excuse will EVER be sufficient for that.
Faysal Kabir Mohammad Himon hit Sian Green in Manhattan on Tuesday, and was not licensed to drive the cab he was using. That road rage he was talking about came from arguing with a cyclist, and claimed that when he tried to step on the brake he hit the accelerator instead.
What he told the press, though, sounds a little different than trying to step on the brake:
Dr. Oz to the rescue!
The cardiothoracic surgeon was in the right place at the right time when he rushed to help a young woman who had been struck by a NYC taxi cab.
The victim, Sian Green, a 23 year-old British tourist (below), had just started her NYC tourist adventure by buying a hot dog and was eating at the plaza with a friend when the accident occurred.
Taxi driver, 24 year-old Faysal Kabir Mohammad Himon of Queens, lost control of his taxi and drove onto the sidewalk and into a group of pedestrians, including Sian.
Dr. Oz and other witnesses leapt into action to help the victim, including a plumber by the name of David Justino (above) who made a tourniquet for the massive injury by using his belt to help cut off the blood flow while a pizza truck owner put her severed foot on ice.
Shockingly, the cab driver
Michelle Obama releasing a hip-hop album???
Sounds pretty crazy, right? Well as insane as it might sound, it will actually become a reality as the First Lady plans on dropping a record to encourage kids to eat right and stay healthy!
Mrs. O has played a huge role in the fight against childhood obesity, and with some help from her organization Let's Move!, she hopes to keep kids healthy through the power of music!
White House assistant chef Sam Kass says hip-hop music is the perfect platform to get the message across to today's kids:
"Cultural leaders and visionaries in our country can give these messages to kids in a way that's not preachy. Kids are going to be dancing and listening to the music. I think hip-hop in particular – so many kids love hip-hop. It's such a core part of our culture."
What a great idea!!
But before you get excited about the First Lady stepping behind the mic and spitting some mad rhymes, it sounds like she'll be keeping the singing to the professionals!
The album, titled Songs For A Healthier America is set to be released September 30th and will feature a wide array of artists including Matisyahu, Travis Barker, Ariana Grande, Ashanti, DMC, and MANY more!
For the first time since her divorce, Eva Longoria has opened up about how it's affected her health and healthy goals! She wants to empower Latina women to get in control of their health!
That's why she went on Dr. Oz's show — to make waves in all of her fans that need to get serious about their lives!
Here's what she said about her health after divorcing her husband:
Hmm… that sounds YUMMY!!
Gwyneth Paltrow just made an appearance on The Dr. Oz Show, and while she's been really busy hawking her cookbook, It's All Good, and sharing fitness tips, she decided to serve up some of her recipes with the doc himself.
Not only did the diet crazed actress discuss her diet, healthy foods and put her recipes out in the open, but she also taught us how to make mint, cucumber, lime and basil detox friendly mojitos, which actually sound and look to-die-for.
