Dr. Phil is currently the No. 1 syndicated talk show in America, but solid ratings don't always translate to a lot of good going on behind the scenes.
We're hearing that the CBS Television Distribution series is undergoing a ton of issues with its crew at the moment, and there's even talk of a mutiny arising!
Apparently, the people in charge of the show have been quite cold to their staff this season — and have been trying to pinch pennies without thinking about the consequences.
The first problem reportedly occurred immediately after production returned from its Summer hiatus in September — when the entire Transcription Department was fired with zero warning!
But those weren't the only lay offs — we're hearing
Talk about a tough time.
Nicholas Brendon, former star of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, has had quite a few problems with drugs, alcohol, and arrests in the past.
However, his appearance didn't quite go as planned as he ended up walking off of the show which aired yesterday. The Buffy star was very unhappy with his treatment during the taping of the show and stormed off after Dr. Phil questioned him about his current sobriety.
Brendon was particularly unhappy with the way he claims Dr. Phil talked about his mother specifically speaking on how she didn't put Brendon in therapy after he was sexually abused as a kid.
Since the show aired, the actor took to Facebook to explain his reasoning and give insight into his frustration. In a lengthy explanation he posted:
Nicholas Brendon's highly anticipated Dr. Phil interview aired today, and gave a glimpse into just how troubled the former Buffy The Vampire Slayer actor is.
Nicholas, who had been arrested five times in eight months, reached out to the talk show host.
Trouble began BEFORE the interview, which was taped three weeks ago. The night before the show, the 44-year-old got into a violent fight with his girlfriend Emelia at the hotel they were staying at.
Nicholas did show up for the taping, saying his motivation for being there was to be a face for people struggling addiction and depression. But when Dr. Phil brought up his behavior from the previous night, he stormed off the stage.
He never returned, saying off set that the show was "not for me."
Ch-ch-check out the disturbing clip (above)!
We just hope that Nicholas gets the help that he needs.
Wow. It's hard to believe it's been 14 years since that fateful day in New York City.
Although many hardworking men, women, and children tragically passed too soon, we still celebrate their lives every year — and we're not alone.
Many of Hollywood's biggest stars have taken to social media, posting touching tributes in remembrance of September 11, 2001.
This is so sad.
Model Chloe Goins and four other women who claim to have been sexually assaulted by Bill Cosby are appearing Thursday on Dr. Phil with host Dr. Phil McGraw to discuss their stories of being drugged and assaulted.
Now, we've seen the first teaser clip of the episode (above), and we have a better understanding of exactly what might take place on air.
Goins speaks to Dr. Phil in the teaser, saying:
"It's been really hard, especially with coming out publicly. Unfortunately, with these types of cases the victim gets really scrutinized and dug into. My life has been completely dug into by people, and it's been a tough road."
She also relays how upset she is about Cosby's behavior:
"It makes me upset every time I think about it. It was a disgusting thing that happened to me, that happened to these other women, and I'll never be able to fully grasp that or get over that."
Cosby, of course, has been accused of drugging and sexually assaulting more than 40 women, all of whom have come forward recently to reveal disgusting past alleged behavior by the comedian.
Cosby is scheduled to testify in a deposition on October 9.
