While aboard the New Kids On The Block's eighth annual cruise, the OG boy bander snapped 122 selfies with fans in an attempt to dethrone past title holder Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson — and he totally pulled it off. In case you didn't know, Mr. Johnson once held the world record title for the 105 selfies he took in three minutes with fans while at the London premiere of San Andreas back in May 2015.
Nonetheless, the 47-year-old is officially the world record champ now as he took to Twitter and shared:
The action hero, who posed for the pic with costars Jack Black, Kevin Hart, and Karen Gillan captioned the pic:
"EXCLUSIVE FIRST LOOK:#JUMANJI Our dope 90's vintage costumes will all make sense when our plot's revealed. Truuuuuust me😂👊🏾.The journey continues.."Moose Finbar" (Kevin Hart). "Ruby Roundhouse" (Karen Gillan). "Professor Shelly Oberon" (Jack Black). "Dr. Smolder Bravestone" ’cause well.. he smolders."
Well after the post, Gillan received quite a bit of backlash online for wearing what some deemed as a revealing, skimpy, and non-functional outfit — something pretty backward and sexist for a movie coming out in 2017!
But the former Doctor Who star has defended herself as she tweeted out:
Controversy comes for us all, it would seem — and Disney is living through it the hard way right now!
The folks behind their new movie Moana, that is set for release right around Thanksgiving, are wading into dangerous territory with a controversial Halloweencostume available on the company's website that some people believe to be racist!
Of course, we've only become more impatient after the film released the cutest teaser EVER, but now we've got the first FULL trailer for the Hawaiian adventure, and its charismatic star visited GMA via satellite to celebrate!
