Madonna is serious about making sure girls around the world get educated!

Her Madgesty auctioned off one of her prized paintings at Sotheby's on Tuesday, and gave every penny to charity! And that was A LOT of pennies!

The painting- French artist Fernand Leger's Trois Femmes a la Table Rouge- sold for a whopping $7.16 MILLION! Sacre bleu! Madonna said:

"I want to trade something valuable for something invaluable - Educating Girls!"

Way to go, gurl! Maybe just a few of the thousand girls getting educated will end up as painters making MORE good art for the world!

When 33 members of the senior class of Scripps Ranch High School have to explain to their families why they wouldn't be picking up their diplomas at graduation, they had to refer to Urban Dictionary!

The students were suspended, prevented from walking at graduation, and banned from prom, all for twerking!

Well, that and making a VIDEO of it!

The students are accused of breaking the school's sexual harassment policy, which according to the SRHS handbook, includes any "verbal, visual, or physical conduct of a sexual nature made by someone from or in the educational setting."

The punishment is causing quite a bit of controversy, in and out of the high school, and we can see why!

We hate to see kids punished for dancing, but then again this is hardly the plot of Footloose!

The school has decided to add a third changing room between the boys' and girls' locker rooms. This one will be gender-neutral!

Adam and a slew of other stars are offering some amazing donations to a charity auction to save a struggling El Lay charter school!

When food vendors at Coehlo Middle School in Massachusetts found out that some of the students had a negative balance on their lunch cards, they weren't just denied food-
