One of the most fun parts of a sporting event isn't the actual game itself…
It's when the cameras pan around the audience, calling people out to do things!
Most of us would know what the "kiss cam" is because it's simple: the camera frames up two people and they're supposed to kiss each other.
But have you ever heard of the Atlanta Braves' "Simba cam?"
This is a pleasantly surprising group of people!
Sir Elton was hosting the 2013 Mylan WTT Smash Hits exhibition with Billie Jean, and all of the proceeds went to AIDS charities, including his own!
Together, thanks to this tennis exhibition, the Rocket Man and this tennis great have raised $11.5 million for AIDS since 1993 when they started it!
This is such a brazilliant idea! And we’re sure having Andy and Venus there only drew more of a crowd because they’re incredible!

More than 20 years ago, Sir Elton John founded the Elton John AIDS Foundation in hopes of thwarting the terrible disease, and the organization has grown quite a lot over the past couple of decades!
On October 15th, the EJAF will be hosting its 12th annual An Enduring Vision benefit at Cipriani Wall Street in New York City, and it has a very impressive guest list!
The former Secretary of State will be given the Founder's Award for her moving speech in Geneva, where she famously said "gay rights are human rights and human rights are gay rights," and she's also being recognized for her efforts to reach the goal of living in an AIDS free world!
It's so great to see Elton John's organization taking on such an important issue and making sure it doesn't simply get swept under the rug!
Hopefully events like these will continue to raise awareness and get even more people talking about how we can beat AIDS, once and for all!

Compared to performing with a ticking time-bomb of an appendix, we're sure that Elton John would choose the road to recovery any day! Plus, he finally gets to relax a little before he gets back to all of his adoring fans!
His appendectomy was a success!
He had the operation at Princess Grace Hospital in Monaco last Thursday! At 66, he had been playing shows while in pain and under
When we first heard that Elton John was postponing summer tour dates because of appendicitis, we were bummed, but not really worried! That's such a common problem, we just figured he'd get it fixed and then be on bed rest for a while. No biggie!
It turns out, though, that Elton is grateful to be alive — because he had been playing his tour dates for a while with the undiagnosed appendicitis! That's SUPER dangerous, as it could have been poisoning him from the inside and he wouldn't have even known it!
Just like the rest of his fans planning to see him on his summer tour, we have no problem putting aside our disappointment in not being able to see him, and would rather lift him up and wish him a speedy recovery! Appendicitis is no holiday, that's for sure!
The stars were OUT for The Race To Erase MS, and it was quite an event!!
Oh, and Elton John totally performed!! A-MAZING!
You know what? When it comes to the fight against MS, Sharon really hits it on the head: information is power! You have to study and read as much as you can and then figure out how you can fight back against a diagnosis! Never take no for an answer!
We're so inspired by all of this! We hope the cause keeps progressing like it has!!
