Brit Brit is on fiyah!
The Femme Fatale is on the cover of Harper's Bazaar June issue and looking AMAZING in a Bill Blass cutout dress.
The rest of Britney's Alexi Lubomirski spread was shot at a skate park and posed against the graffitied walls in Emanuel Ungaro, Dolce & Gabbana, Isabel Marant and Blumarine.
Harper's Bazaar also asked Brit on some of her best and worst fashion moments and what she thinks about a certain Born This Way singer:
What has been your best fashion look?
"I went to the Grammys in 2002, and I had really curly, curly hair. I had a red dress on. It wasn't short and saucy; it was a long red dress. That dress was fun."
What was your biggest fashion mistake?
"Ten years ago at the Billboard awards, I wore this orange hat and orange bra and orange booty pants and purple fishnets. Oh, and I had an orange jacket on."
What do you think of Lady Gaga?
"She's unique and extremely talented. I love her spin on everything."
It's so nice to see her smiling and looking happy!

"Did you not see the Lindsay and Ungaro collection? That was 9/11 for celebrities doing fashion. After that I thought, 'Well I can't do a line now'."

Stefano Pilati might want to start revamping his resume because word around Paris Fashion Week is that Tom Ford's successor at YSL is about to get fired.
According to a source:
"Apparently the house is tired of his antics, like blowing off reporters, partying too hard and making clothes that no one wants to buy, and they have decided to sack him".
Hmm, that sounds an awful lot like Lindsay Lohan and her stint at Ungaro.
The source goes on to say Pilati's replacement is likely to be Olivier Theyskens, "who somehow keeps failing upwards — he drove Nina Ricci near financial ruin with clothes that photograph dramatically but no one can actually wear."
Great choice, YSL.

It was the show everyone was waiting for, and on Monday Giles Deacon finally revealed his debut collection for Emanuel Ungaro — and it was a success!
The Spring 2011 collection was youthful and classy, a word that's not in former creative advisor Lindsay Lohan's vocabulary. Critics also described Giles' collection as "more couture", which means it'll be expensive.
Saks Fifth Avenue's Mindy Prugnaud said it best "Giles Deacon is a serious designer who's getting the house back in order."
Congrats Giles!

Emanuel Ungaro's newly appointed creative director Giles Deacon knew he couldn't take on the Lindsanity alone, so he got some help from his friend Katie Grand.
Before she was editor and stylist at Love, Katie got her big break after turning around the troubled Italian label Bottega Veneta in the 1990s. Grand suggested BV hire Deacon to design their collection and after one season they were successful once again.
Giles is hoping Katie will have a repeat performance at Ungaro, and we think she can. Just stay away from pasties!

Designer Giles Deacon has set out to do the impossible: rebuild what Lindsay Lohan destroyed of Emmanuel Ungaro.
The newly appointed chief designer has big plans for the defunct label. He told Grazia:
"Ungaro is one of the last three Houses on the Avenue Montaigne and I felt I wanted to bring back this feeling of vivaciousness, of Frenchness, of really sexy clothing that’s got that Ungaro thing about it."
Giles also says he hopes to bring back "quality…which I think it had kind of lost - for lots of reasons that have gone on over the last five years that we’re all very aware of. And amused by in various cases."
No need to beat around the bush, Giles. We all know you're talking about those heart-shaped pasties!
The brave soul also has a sense of humor about that whole Lindsay Lohan debacle last year. When asked if there were any traces of Lindsanity, Deacon responded with "I didn’t find one, no! No hair extensions, no!"
Ha!
The newly designed Ungaro collection will make its debut on October 4th during Paris Fashion Week.
We, along with the rest of the fashion world, can't wait to see what Giles created.

Somewhere Estrella Archs is snickering.
For some reason Giles Deacon took the bait and is officially in at Emanuel Ungaro.
Considering the label has practically hit rock bottom, there's no way Giles could ruin the label anymore than Lindsanity did.
A word of advice, don't do pasties!
