Umm, this is NOT what we were expecting from TLC.

Say it ain't so!
On Wednesday, Maggie Gyllenhaal revealed in an interview that she recently lost a role because she was told she was too old! What the what?!
The 37-year-old shared:
"There are things that are really disappointing about being an actress in Hollywood that surprise me all the time.
I'm 37 and I was told recently I was too old to play the lover of a man who was 55. It was astonishing to me. It made me feel bad, and then it made me feel angry, and then it made me laugh."
Though the Oscar nominee was able to laugh it off — we think we're still angry!!
The Parks and Recreation star quipped:
"Patricia Arquette is here, so wonderful. So, so wonderful in the film Boyhood. Boyhood proves there are still great roles for women over 40, as long as you get hired when you're under 40."
Gyllenhaal decided to take the high road and chose not to reveal the specific project.
Nonetheless, the brunette beauty is getting quite a bit of Emmy buzz for her role in the mini-series, The Honourable Woman.
"A lot of actresses are doing incredible work right now, playing real women, complicated women. I don't feel despairing at all. And I'm more looking with hope for something fascinating."
Rock on, sister!
We wonder what brother, Jake Gyllenhall has to think about his sister's struggles?!
We can only imagine he's pissed.
Maggie, keep doing you girl. We foresee many more roles (and awards) in your future!

David Letterman's 33-year reign as the King of Late Night has officially come to an end!
On Wednesday, the TV host signed off from his show, The Late Show, for the last time. We knew his farewell would be one to remember — but we didn't realize we'd have to hold back tears!
The 16-time Emmy winner made sure his send off was both star-studded and incredibly touching! AH-Mazing!
So, let's take a moment to honor the top FIVE moments from the 68-year-old's FIERCE last episode!
You go girl!
However, the TV host wanted to chat about something a little more serious — she asked the funny lady about her experience with body shamers.
The Oscar nominee recalled an awkward face-to-face meeting with a particularly harsh critic during the 2014 Toronto Film Festival — which she previously discussed in her recent Entertainment Weekly cover story.
The critic apparently made incredibly sexist comments about the Emmy winner's appearance in a previous film — so the TV star decided it was time to educate the journalist about body shaming!
"I said, 'You know, would you do that to a man? John C. Riley played a really broken down character and looked terrible.'
I said, 'I put a lot of time and effort into having her completely not look like she cared about herself. That was part of how I felt she felt on the inside. Would you ever say that to a man?' And he goes, 'Well, you really looked bad.' And then I said, 'I hope…do you have children? And he said, 'I do.' And I said, 'I hope you don't have a daughter."
Whoa! However, the Bridesmaids actress explained that she wasn't trying to be malicious.
"When I said, 'If she comes home and someone says you can't have a job because you're unattractive,' are you gonna say, 'That's right?'
And he took that in his heart and he was like, 'No, I would never want that to happen. I would never in a million years want that to happen.'"
FIERCE!! Way to represent women everywhere, Melissa!
Is Taylor Schilling waging war on selfies?
Well, she certainly doesn't like them — that's for sure.
"There is something so sad about going online and seeing almost everyone shouting 'Notice me, notice me!' Which is such a human desire—to be acknowledged.
But me responding to that with some sort of 'You're noticed, you're seen' only perpetuates the loneliness. Because I'm not seeing you; I'm not noticing you."
Whoa! Tell us how you really feel, Taylor.
However, the Lucky One actress doesn't mean to be so negative. In reality, she just feels that people should be appreciated in the real world rather than through 'fake' internet validation.
The blonde beauty didn't just stop there — she even threw shade at the selfie Queen, Kim Kardashian.
The real winner at the Daytime Emmy Awards in El Lay on Sunday was peace.
Well, sort of. Because ten seconds into their truce, Ellen totally pulled a Red Wedding betrayal move on Matt with some crazy editing! LOLz!
Ch-ch-check out the video (above) to see Ellen and Matt prove they can't stop pranking one another!
The on-hiatus Fashion Police co-host chose a coral dress with mesh-covered slashes along the shoulders and skirt, and the color was quite complementary against her tan.
Chris Brown's on-off again girlfriend flaunted her abs in a crisp white dress with side cut-outs and a small trapezoid-shaped opening near her navel.
Cut-outs are always fun no matter how random, so we can't complain about these outfits!
Good job, guys — you did that lack of fabric proud!

So. Much. Skin.
And how could he??
While John was ever so dapper in his blue suit and silky lapels, it was still his other half who stole the spotlight with her lack of clothing.
Chrissy arrived on the red carpet dressed in a caped black blazer, pencil skirt, and sexy strappy sandals, but absolutely no top!
A look like this really should come with a warning!
