Silicon Valley Team Says T.J. Miller's Messy Exit Was 'A Long Time Coming'!

Silicon Valley may have lost a beloved character with the departure of series star T.J. Miller, but the brilliant minds behind the HBO series aren't too worried about it.

In fact, series creator Mike Judge told The Hollywood Reporter that Miller's exit came as a huge relief to the production team, as he was apparently about as professional as the stoner he played on the Emmy-nominated comedy.

Sources tell THR that the decision to cut ties with the comedian was "a long time coming" and that his use of drugs and alcohol would get in the way of his job.

On some days, insiders claim, The Emoji Movie star would show up seemingly under the influence — others he wouldn't show up at all.

Judge echoed these claims in his interview, telling the publication:

After hearing Van Barnes' side of things, Jeffrey Tambor sounds like the boss from hell.

On Wednesday, one of the disgraced Transparent star's accusers stopped by Megyn Kelly's hour of Today to talk about her unpleasant experiences with the Emmy winner. As we previously reported, Tambor was fired from the Amazon hit after his former assistant Barnes and costar Trace Lysette hit him with allegations of sexual misconduct.

Well, during her sit down with Kelly, Van went into further detail about what the 73-year-old put her through, including a claim that he used to watch her sleep naked. Barnes shared with Megyn:

M*A*S*H Actor David Ogden Stiers Dead At 75

Longtime character actor David Ogden Stiers, best known for playing Major Charles Winchester on M*A*S*H, has died after a long battle with bladder cancer. He was 75 years old.

The actor's agent confirmed Stiers' death to the media today, relaying that the longtime actor died peacefully at his home in Newport, Oregon.

Stiers joined the cast of M*A*S*H in 1977, playing Winchester as an arrogant aristocrat and surgeon who filled a major void in the show after the departure of the Frank Burns character.

Frasier Star John Mahoney Dead At 77

John Mahoney passed away at the age 77 on Sunday.

His manager confirmed the sad news that the Frasier star had passed while under hospice care at his home in Chicago.

Though his accent would never betray it, Mahoney was born in Blackpool, England. He didn't move to the U.S. until he was 19 and didn't start acting until he was 37.

He found success for decades, with big parts in acclaimed films Moonstruck, Say Anything, and Primal Fear and a recently recurring role on TV Land's Hot In Cleveland.

But he will always be remembered as Marty Crane, the lovable but cantankerous father of Frasier and Niles, for which he was nominated for Emmys and Golden Globes twice each and even won a SAG Award from his fellow actors.

Mahoney never married or had any children.
