Well this isn't so smart!
Leonardo DiCaprio picked himself up some hardware this week — an award at a ritzy gala in New York City championing him for his environmental awareness — and celebrated it by taking TWO different private jets in the process! Oops!

The Titanic superstar was spotted grabbing private jets from France to NYC and then back to the European nation again surrounding the Riverkeeper Fishermen's Ball in NYC on Wednesday night, where he was honored alongside Robert De Niro.
The film star flew in on an 8,000 mile trip from Cannes, France for the event, only to fly back out
Looks like Leonardo DiCaprio is pulling out the big guns!
On Thursday, Leo met with Pope Francis at the Vatican in Italy to discuss very important issues like climate change and the environment. Also along for the ride was L.D.'s father George DiCaprio and the global fundraising chair for the Leonardo DiCaprio Foundation.

The meeting is not too much of a surprise considering both the Pope and the actor are staunch supporters of reducing our carbon footprint in an effort to make the world more sustainable for generations to come.
In fact, last September P.F. made a great comment about environmentalism at the United Nations General Assembly, saying:
"Any harm done to our environment is harm done to humanity."
How well said!
While the contents of the meeting were private, we're sure the two had a great brainstorming session on how to stop the horrendous crimes against our environment. They're both passionate AND knowledgeable about the cause, after all!
On another note, can we stop to reflect on what a great year DiCaprio is having? Not only did the 41-year-old get to meet the Pope, but he also won a Golden Globe for Best Actor earlier this month.
Who knows, maybe Leo will top off his fab month with an Oscar win!
