We think it's safe to say that SONY didn't have the best 2014.

After getting hacked, having private emails made public, and being threatened into cancelling The Interview's theatrical release… the studio just had to make their toughest call yet.

Not only will James Franco and Seth Rogen's action comedy not be screened in theaters, it seems that it's never going to be seen at all!

Even more drama!

By now, you've probably heard that The Interview has been cancelled from airing in any theaters, but we've got an update that makes this story even crazier.

While no theaters will be able to show the James Franco and Seth Rogen comedy about killing the leader of North Korea, that's not stopping one Texas theater from giving it their all!

So sad!

It looks like Sony will not be putting out The Interview at all.

After most major movie theater chains pulled the film from their schedules following the threats of terrorism made by hackers, Sony has decided to shelve the Seth Rogen and James Franco comedy entirely.

The Interview Has Now Been Dropped By Pretty Much Every American Theater After Terrorist Threats — How Does That Make YOU Feel??

We are so shocked and disappointed by this!

It looks like Carmike Theaters will not be alone in pulling The Interview from their schedules after threats of terrorism; according to Deadline, every major theater chain in America is following suit.

If you go see movies at AMC, Cinemark, Cineplex, or Regal Cinemas, you won't be seeing Seth Rogen and James Franco fumble through an assassination plot this Christmas.

We are scared for the safety of the film's stars and terrified at the idea of another terrorist attack hitting U.S. soil, but we just don't know if this is the right call.

Whether the film is offensive to some or not, doesn't letting terrorists decide what we can and can't watch go against our fundamental freedoms?

We're just so sad to know that this kind of violent tactic worked.

What do U think?

Should theaters have dropped The Interview because of threats?

THIS Is President Obama's Favorite Movie Of The Year! Sony's Amy Pascal & Scott Rudin Were Totally Wrong!

This is one special movie.

And the most powerful leader in the world acknowledged it as such!

President Obama and Michelle Obama recently sat down with People to talk about everything and it just so happens that everything includes their favorite movies!

And while the President is a fan of Richard Linklater's nearly three hour epic movie Boyhood, Michelle is actually a fan of another, less participated in, kind of entertainment…
