Marvel is taking another step towards diversity - though they're clearly sticking with that longterm plan of only employing fabulously talented people!

Tilda is apparently set to play Strange's immortal mentor The Ancient One.

The character is traditionally depicted as an old bearded man, but after they couldn't find the right fit, Marvel decided to cast a wider net and go with a bolder choice!

Innerestingly, this will be the SECOND time Tilda has taken on the role of a previously male character in a comic book movie; in 2005 she played the archangel Gabriel in the Keanu Reeves version of Constantine.

Doctor Strange is directed by Scott Derrickson and is set to hit theaters November 4, 2016.

2003's The League Of Extraordinary Gentlemen took an incredibly literate, clever, tongue-in-cheek book and turned it into an idiotic action movie that made G.I. Joe look like The Deer Hunter.

And now Fox is remaking it.

OK, so there's an argument to be made for Batman & Robin or Halle Berry's Catwoman being the worst comic book movie ever.

But at least they have a campy rewatchability.

Your Reaction?

The full Point Break remake trailer is here, and if you're expecting to be underwhelmed, try shotgunning a Mountain Dew and think again!

Oh, you're still unimpressed? Yeah, we hear you.

There are some changes to the original story. Instead of surfing bank robbers, the criminal gang are anarchist extreme athletes trying to destabilize the world's economy.

Um, there's more BASE jumping. That's new. And — unfortunately — no one fires their gun up in the air and goes aaargh! But that would require emotional resonance we just aren't seeing in this trailer.

Sadly, all the X-treme awesomeness in the world can't replace the charisma of Keanu Reeves and Patrick Swayze.

Are we being unfair? What do YOU think??

With great casting comes great responsibility.

If you're a comic book fan, then you're probably aware that Channing Tatum was recently cast as Gambit in an upcoming X-Men movie!

And if you're not a comic book fan, then you should start to be, because we think the Magic Mike star is going to be great in the stand-alone film.

While X-Men Apocalypse isn't scheduled to hit theaters until May 27, 2016, Channing is already giddy about his Gambit-centric film, slated for late 2016.

In a recent interview, the 35-year-old compared writer Josh Zetumer's first draft of the super hero script to other comic book-based franchises before it, saying:
