Star Trek Into Darkness may have tried to boldly go where no blockbuster had gone before, but unfortunately, it appears to have fallen a few million dollars short of that!

Although the J.J. Abrams-directed sequel was expected to rack in between $90-$100 million during its opening box office weekend, the numbers are now in….and apparently, audiences were not as thrilled to see Chris Pine and Zachary Quinto battle it out with Benedict Cumberbatch, as it only secured about $70.6 million!

But don't fret, Trekkies!

The flick STILL beat out all of the competition for the weekend's number one spot domestically, and in the process crushed both Iron Man 3, which came in second with $35.2 million, and The Great Gatsby, which made a cool $23.4 and rounded out the top three!

Thank goodness there is NO SUCH THING as being Anchorman'd out!

Because this week has been the best kind of Ron Burgandy overload EVER, between the multitude of celebrity cameos being filmed recently for the much-anticipated sequel, Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues, as well as the just-released DEBUT theatrical trailer!

And get this: there are STILL unexpected celebrities showing up on set to get their '70s on…in a big way!

Like Drizzy EFFING Drake!

Yup, folks! Just add him to a cast list that already includes Harrison Ford, Nicole Kidman, Kanye West, Tina Fey, Kirsten Dunst, Sacha Baron Cohen, Amy Poehler, and Meryl Streep! AH-MAYZZZZE!

The rapper was spotted in full costume - AKA with full 'FRO - on the streets New York City yesterday afternoon while shooting scenes with Will Ferrell and Christina Applegate, and we don't even know what he'll be doing yet…but we're absolutely OBSESSED!

While there may be some of you RAWKING OUT to a supremely catchy summer-jam-in-the-making, otherwise known as Britney Spears' new song for The Smurfs 2 soundtrack, Ooh La La, as it leaked onto the internet a few days back, you may very well want to prepare yourselves!

Because according to the pop sensation, the version we've all heard is merely the DEMO!

But don't fret! The release of the OFFICIAL version is right around the corner!

And although we don't get to see any real footage of what's to come, we couldn't be more delighted to see Will Ferrell, David Koechner, Paul Rudd, and our beloved Steve Carell re-introducing their characters' to our minds and hearts!

Lindsay Lohan could probably use a friend at rehab, especially since she’s had very few visitors and she’s stuck there for the next few months!!

But despite Brooke Mueller’s attempts to become bestiez with the red-headed star, it sounds like Lindsay wants nothing to do with Charlie Sheen’s ex. She even calls her a “drug addict”–which sounds a little hypocritical, no??

Reportedly, it’s:

“…creeping Lindsay out that Brooke seeks her out nightly at the meetings in an attempt to strike up a friendship. Brooke is extremely eager to become besties with Lindsay while in rehab, and has told Lindsay how much they have in common. Lindsay has said that Brooke is a drug addict, and wants nothing to do with her. Lindsay has told her treatment team to keep Brooke out of her group sessions.”

HARSH, LiLo!!

But maybe LiLo’s dismissiveness is called for, because apparently Brooke is only interested in fame. Supposedly, the only reason Brooke checked herself into rehab to begin with was to try and win Lindsay’s friendship!!

And NOW we hear that Emily Blunt is in final negotiations to play the LEAD in the film, the Baker's Wife!

If you are not super familiar with the fantastical Into The Woods, the story follows a cursed baker and his wife who cannot have children as they go on a journey to find the witch that cursed them. On their adventures they meet all sorts of classic, fairy tale characters.

Oh we REALLY hope this gets finalized SOON, cause the stellar actress would be perfect for the role… Emily's f*cking flawless in practically everything else she does!

What a high caliber cast, let's get this shit on LOCK already!
