Florence Welch Is Magnificently Medieval In London

| Filed under: AnglophiliaFashion SmashionFlorence and The MachineLouis Vuitton

Florence Welch gets medieval on us in London

If Florence Welch ever finds herself transported back to the Middle Ages thanks to some freak shift in the time-space continuum, she'll fit right in!

The incredible vocalist looked like a medieval princess at the preview party for The Royal Academy of Arts Summer Exhibition in London on Wednesday in a lovely velvet Louis Vuitton dress with floral embroidery and lace trim.

Flo piled on the accessories with chunky Louis Vuitton heels, an Anya Hindmarch clutch, and loads of rings all over her maroon-manicured fingers.

That milkmaid braid would have the Knights of the Round Table killing each other for a chance at her hand!

Rock on, Florence!

Florence Welch Goes From Masculine To Feminine At Sound Of Change Live

If one person can pull off two very different looks, it's Florence Welch.

On Saturday, the redheaded songstress gave off a bit of masculine flair at the Chime for Change: Sound of Change Live concert wearing a red vintage Gucci suit, white button down shirt, a leather leopard print clutch, and matching vintage leopard print men's loafers.

Such a HUGE improvement from her last red carpet adventure!

When it came time to take the stage at London's Twickenham Stadium, Flo took things to a very feminine ethereal state in a strapless teal Gucci gown with a long sheer coverup, which made her fiery red hair stand out like a celestial siren.

And, luckily, she had a mean pedicure going on because she performed barefoot!!

Even though both outfits are on opposite ends of the style spectrum, they both seem suit her.

Which look do U prefer??

Florence Welch Is A Polka Dotted Disappointment At The Cannes Opening Ceremony

Florence Welch is a dotted mess at the Cannes Opening Ceremony

We know Florence Welch marches to the beat of her own fashion drum, but this time her out-of-the-box look is not working for us.

Amidst all the glitzy looks at the Cannes Opening Ceremony and The Great Gatsby screening on Wednesday, Flo's dotted Miu Miu dress and two-toned platform Miu Miu shoes were very much out of place.

They were way too wacky for this kind of event!

We can't even give her an A for effort.

Florence Welch's Fringe Gets Her All Tangled Up After The Met Gala

Florence Welch's Givenchy gown gets tangled up in chairs

Nobody ever said wearing a high-end designer gown was all sunshine and rainbows!

Florence Welch struck a bold pose at the Met Gala on Monday, but although her dramatic Givenchy gown put her on the best dressed list, it also gave her a bit of a headache.

After sashaying down the red carpet, Flo and friends hit up the Standard Grill, and while they were having a jolly good time, the fringe on the singer's dress got tangled up in two of the restaurant's chairs!

Thankfully the 25-year-old's stylist came to the rescue with a pair of scissors, snipping away at the tassels and setting her client free.

An onlooker overheard Florence lamenting the damage to the dress, saying:

"Riccardo Tisci's going to kill me, but there's no way I can go upstairs dragging two chairs."

We're sure Riccardo will forgive, Flo.

But he was probably having too much fun with Frank Ocean to care! LOLz!

Met Gala 2013: Florence Welch walks the red carpet

Florence Welch of Florence and the Machine eschewed punk for goth at the Met Gala on Monday night.

The singer turned to one of her trusted faves, Givenchy, for the event, looking vampy-chic in an opulent black number with seksi center slit and dramatic fringed sleeves.

Her gorgeous red mane and porcelain skin were the PERFECT accessories.

This is one of her best looks EVER! A+!
