The New York Times should stick to what it knows and stay out of our guacamole.
On Wednesday morning, TNYT decided to advise its readers on one of the most beloved foods of all time — guacamole. The legendary paper offended and disturbed many subscribers when it tweeted out an article that suggested guacamole enthusiasts add PEAS(PEEEEAAAASSSS!!!) to their guac for "sweetness" and "texture".
What the what?! This sounds like a culinary travesty!!
Obviously, the Twitterverse did not take well to this suggestion and BLASTED the paper for its terrible advice. Even President Obama freaked out! Check out some of the best tweets (below)!
Peas don't work in guacamole. You know what they work great in though? NOTHING PEAS ARE DISGUSTING STOP TRYING TO MAKE PEAS HAPPEN.

Peas in guacamole?! We fought two world wars and invented a space program so we could have this world? WTF.

Ha! We love all of these responses!
So, what do YOU think about peas in guac?
Were you planning on celebrating the Supreme Court's historic same sex marriage ruling with ice cream?? Because ice cream is celebrating too!
Ben & Jerry's tweeted their love for the LGBT legal victory, announcing they would commemorate the event with a new flavor!
Well, a new flavor name anyway. They tweeted:
Yay! We LOVE it! They even have the new label already (above)!
As if we needed another reason to chow down on Ben & Jerry's! LOLz!

Be careful where you shop!
Whole Foods is known to many people as a higher end grocery store. They quite often have alternative and sometimes healthier food options, which justifies the price being a bit inflated.
But a new investigation into the New York locations of the grocery chain has found the "higher end" food might not be the only reason that prices are sky high!
The New York City Department of Consumer Affairs has opened up a probe into the ever-growing list of pricing violations by Whole Foods dating back to 2010! Most of these complaints are related to mislabeling pre-packaged food with incorrect weights.
An agency spokesperson said that investigators looked into 80 different items at various locations and every single one of the labels were incorrect!
In one instance, there was an item that was marked up $4.85 more than it was supposed to be!!
Commissioner Julie Menin said:
Now that he's filming a movie with Zach Galifianakis, he's just being completely silly — and he's good at it!
The two apparently developed a kind of sideshow act where Jon throws Gummi Bears into Zach's mouth on set; and they're so good at it they even performed at Bonnaroo!
Of course, when Jon told Jimmy Kimmel about it on Tuesday night's show, the host just had to get in on the action himself!
