The late Aaron Hernandez will likely soon no longer be a convicted murderer.

According to the latest report, the ex-NFL star's legal team has already filed a motion to dismiss his 2015 conviction for the murder of Odin Lloyd.

Thanks to Massachusetts' rule of abatement ab initio, Hernandez dying before his appeals process had completed might require the state to automatically throw out his conviction.

Did Donald Trump take offense at Tom Brady skipping the New England Patriots White House visit?? It certainly seems that way.

The star QB said he was skipping because he was busy "attending to some personal matters" — which seems strange given how big an honor it is for the Super Bowl champs to be recognized by the POTUS.

Is it just because it's this POTUS?

While Tom had previously kept his answers about supporting Trump diplomatic — they were friends after all — his absence is being read by many as a slight to the Prez.

And The Donald seems like he agrees. In his statement, he mentions several players by name but in all his talk of the big game, he doesn't once mention the team's leader.

Here's a clip of the speech, in which Trump is being his smarmy, self-aggrandizing self:

aaron hernandez murder conviction to be vacated

Aaron Hernandez may've technically died an innocent man.

On Wednesday, it was reported that the former New England Patriots tight end's murder conviction will likely be dismissed posthumously because of a legal rule known as "abatement." Wait, seriously?

In case you forgot, the ex-NFL star was serving a life sentence without the possibility of parole after he was convicted in 2015 for murdering Odin Lloyd. Sadly, the scandalized football player took his own life on April 19 as he hanged himself in his prison cell.

Shockingly, it's Aaron's apparent suicide which will clear his name. It's said a court will vacate Hernandez's conviction because his appeal was pending at the time of his death. Professor Rosanna Cavallaro of Suffolk University told CNN:

"The idea is that if an appeal hasn't happened, there's a chance that a conviction has an error in it. Rather than have someone with that incomplete decision that they're guilty, the state chooses instead to say that conviction is abated — as if it never had happened."

We can only imagine that many people have mixed feelings about this update…

What do you do when you HATE Donald Trump, but LOVE Tom Brady??

Well, it seems as though Chris Evans has found himself in that exact predicament as he addressed his unwavering love for the Patriots quarterback (who is also a known Trump supporter). Oh man.

As you surely know, the Captain America actor has been pretty vocal about his disdain for the Commander-In-Chief as he said it was "an embarrassing night for America" after Donnie walked away the victor on Election Day. So it must've been pretty rough for Evans when the Trumpster revealed the American athlete apparently voted for him (although there is some debate there).

Nonetheless, it looks like the A-lister has forgiven his idol for maybe voting for the Celebrity Apprentice alum. While chatting with USA Today, the Boston-born celeb explained:
