Foster The People are back and following up their disappointing first single off their upcoming sophomore album with something fun and cool!
Best Friend like Pharrell… as interpreted through the sonic reimagining of white hipster boys!
It's pretty damn rad and catchy!
And it will make you feel happy!
Check it out above!
And this time the video swallows!!!! Swallows our mind into a state of musically-induced euphoria, we mean!! With its perfectly pop-tastic melodies, delightfully cheery lyrics, and motherf**king ice cream cones!!
Srsly, how cute is that?!
Ch-ch-check out their official Coming of Age video (above)!!
We know polar vortices continue to ravage some parts of the world, but this is a summer jam if we ever heard one!!
Even Katy Perry loves it!!!
She tweeted this message out to her KatyCats:

OutKast plans on touring your neck of the woods, too! Andre 3000 and Big Boi are headlining the Governors Ball in NYC this Summer!

Foster the People is back!
It's been nearly three years since the El Lay band's super successful debut album Torches took the music scene by storm and we were honestly starting to worry these guys had decided to become doctors or something instead of release a follow-up!
Our worries were all for naught, however, because Foster the People has returned and they brought some marvelous new music with them!
Ch-ch-check out their visually striking new video for Coming of Age (above)!

The trio's new album, Supermodel, hits shelves on March 18th.
Oh, we are as pumped up (as kicks) for Foster The People's upcoming second album, and this little teaser makes us even more excited!
The band took to Twitter to officially herald their rockin' return:

Along with the triumphant tweet, they also shared a short teaser video of a new song (above), which has Mark Foster crooning, "It feels like we're coming of age."
Any year when there's a new Foster The People album will certainly be the coming of a new and exciting age! Here's to 2014!
Ch-ch-check out Foster The People performing the new track live this past summer…AFTER THE JUMP!!!
Foster The People's hit, Pumped Up Kicks, has been pulled off the radio following last week's Newtown, Connecticut shootings.
Understandable, since the song illustrates a violent high school shooting with a chorus that goes:
This is what it sounds like… when
doves celebs cry!
Cameras caught the British-born frontman arguing with a bouncer outside Hollywood's Sayers Club after security ejected him for talking on his portable telly during the intimate performance!!
