Teak the German shepherd from Vancouver is being honored as a true canine hero!
He was a member of the Vancouver Police Department and sustained a life threatening injury protecting his partner in the line of duty.
Teak's partner, Constable Derrick Gibson, was chasing an armed robbery suspect.
When they caught up to him, the man pulled out a knife and Teak leapt into action, trying to subdue the suspect while receiving several knife slashes.
A horrific scene in Valencia, Spain.
A woman in her tiny apartment died of natural causes in her home.
But when she passed she left her German Shepherd alone, and without food!
About a week later the deceased woman's neighbors called police because of a foul smell coming from the apartment - what the police found there is an image that is sure to haunt them for quite some time!
Firefighters aren't a one trick pony. They specialize in all sorts of life saving!
Some firefighters in Kentucky rescued a stranded German Shepherd after a passerby noticed it was stuck on a cliff 200 feet above a small creek.
The firemen hiked to the tip-top of the cliff and one of them rappelled down the entire cliff to save the big puppy.

We feel so honored to be able to peek into our FAVE Mad Men star's life (sorry, Pete Campbell!) as he walks his german shepherd Cora.
We'd do anything to rub either of their bellies!

We guess this dog really wants to be taken out to the ball game!
A pet dog named Billy was watching its master play a baseball video game. When the computer generated batter hit the baseball - Billy attacked and pawed the shizz out of the television!
Luckily its owner jumped up and saved the television from landing on the pooch!
Atta boy!
Since nobody was hurt we know Billy won't get punished as he shouldn't either!
It is obvious the doggy just wants to play!

First one dog saves a life, then another steps up!
Do we smell a trend happening?
A loyal german shepherd stopped a woman from shooting herself in the chest by jumping into her - causing the bullet to miss her heart.
