Well, this was a long time coming!
A source close to the situation confided:

Whoa! We've been waiting for this!
As you know, the pair announced their decision to divorce last June and shortly after reports went rampant that Affleck had an affair with the beloved couple's kids' nanny Christine Ouzounian.
Now, Garner is ready to talk — and she's saying the 28-year-old employee had nothing to do with the divorce.
Miz Garner explained:
"It was a real marriage. It wasn't for the cameras. And it was a huge priority for me to stay in it. And that did not work."
Apparently, there's more to the story:
That's a wrap!
On Friday, Peter Facinelli and Jaimie Alexander announced they ended their engagement AND relationship after dating for three years.
The 42-year-old actor and the 31-year-old actress released the following statement
It looks like Kanye West's peers are starting to get worried about him! On Friday Rhymefest, one of Yeezus' longtime collaborators, took to Twitter to express his concern for Kim Kardashian West's husband.
Sylvester Stallone is one stand up guy!
The 69-year-old may have forgotten to thank his Creed director Ryan Coogler and costar Michael B. Jordan during his Golden Globes acceptance speech — but he's certainly not leaving them in the dust for the Oscars!
In fact, the actor told reporters at a luncheon for Oscar nominees on Monday that he almost planned on skipping out on the award show to join the #OscarsSoWhite boycott!
Stallone, who is nominated for Best Supporting Actor, told reporters that he actually asked Coogler to make the call on what he should do, recalling:
Taraji P. Henson is still relishing her win at the Golden Globes, but that doesn't mean she's letting it get to her head!
The Empire starlet confessed that this new level of fame is actually new to her.
Speaking to Extra in a new interview, the fierce actress spilled:
"It's weird because I've been doing this for so long and it took a character like Cookie to expose me to the world in a way that I've never been exposed before."
It's true. But
Cookie Taraji is trying to stay as down-to-earth as possible.
The 45-year-old shared:
"I love to shop at Target and I love to do my own shopping, but that's become difficult… with the paparazzi. It's like, ‘Where were y'all, like, 10 years ago?' You have got to take the good with the bad. The good side is I can get into any restaurant… last-minute."
And revealing what it was like to be awarded with her first GG, she revealed:
"That is our soul we expose to the world, so whenever people receive it and people go, ‘Oh, we want to give you something,' it always feels good."
What a beautiful way to put it!
Though in five years, the starlet hopes to be settled down a bit. Taraji explained:
"Hopefully, I don't want to say ‘retired,' but a little slowed down. Maybe just picking and choosing projects I want to do. Maybe enjoying the fruits of my labor."
At least this means we won't be saying "bye" to Cookie anytime soon!
