Wale went on The Breakfast Club's radio show earlier this when he made some pretty controversial comments about Frank Ocean and his Grammy win in 2013 for his debut album Channel Orange.

Frank Ocean has put his birth name out to sea.

The rapper — born Christopher Edwin Breaux — finally got his name change approved by a judge on Thursday.

Chris Frank had made several requests before, but he had to clear up some legal issues.

Name changes are common in the music industry, especially among rappers and hip-hop artists.

The now 26-year-old rose to fame when he was just 11, after releasing the hit single One Voice. He appeared on Oprah and was even nominated for a Grammy!
