Green Day News Archive
The Voice judges got a little nostalgic during the show's finale Tuesday night.
The song they chose: Green Day's Good Riddance (Time of Your Life)!!
Since the song is usually reserved for prom, graduations and funerals, the performance — and the slow-mo slideshow playing in the background — came off a tad corny.

For those who put their money on Hannah Sabata to win the 2012's Criminal Mastermind of the Year award, well, you might want to sit down for a minute…
The 19-year-old blonde from Nebraska was clever enough to rob a bank and escape the premises with $6K, but after that her plan went to hell.
Ch-ch-check out Hannah's latest entry in her YouTube channel (above)!
genius flaunts her newfound cash, the keys to her stolen getaway car, and even a pipe full of wacky-tabacky!
The bad news?
Hannah, you forgot to make your upload private! Now the cops — who have since arrested her — possess evidence to put you behind bars!
The good news?
Your vid has almost 1 mil views!! And critics applaud Green Day's Warning as as a thematically appropriate choice for the soundtrack!
So, you have that going for you!
Almost as absurd as the video is Hannah's cray-cray mug shot, take a look at that madness (below)!
These guys work fast!!
Green Day released their last album, ¡Uno!, in September!
Billie Joe Armstrong and his fierce bandmates lay tracks quicker than railworkers on PCP, so we're only partially surprised they pushed out another vid already!!
Ch-ch-check out the gruesomely charming Stray Heart (above)! The single is from their next album, ¡Dos!, set for release next week!!
The song is sweet, poppy perfection, per usual!
The story is cute — the heart wants what the heart wants and, as Kristen Stewart can attest, sometimes it just wants a piece of strange!!
We approve wholeheartedly!!
Green Day definitely knows their fan base!
Which is why the band has teamed up with Converse to release a new Chuck Taylor shoe with each installment of their album trilogy!
¡Uno! was already released, so now they’re onto ¡Dos! It will be available at Converse and Journey's websites as well as a few stores starting on November 15.
There’s also an online contest where the winner gets tickets to a 2013 Green Day concert!
Sounds like an awesome plan! We can’t wait to see what the last shoe looks like!

The guys of Green Day really ARE Twi-hards!
Oh, and here's the best part: The heart wrenching video shows some haunting clips from Breaking Dawn - Part 2! PRESS PLAY (above) to see Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson vamp out to the last Twilight theme song ever!
It's a little hipsteriffic, but we only noticed its instagramed appearance like, the fourth time we watched it. The first three times our eyes were too full of tears to see its sepia tones!
Honestly, we never thought Green Day and Twilight would ever go together.
But, like the Volturi, they served up some sweet vampire justice!
Well, it isn't Dookie, but we guess it'll do in a pinch! LOLz!
Billie Joe Armstrong and the rest of the Green Day crew are back, healthy, and looking for Trouble!
Ch-ch-check out the video (above) for the band's brand new single, future numero Uno hit Troublemaker!
