Well, the fans were right — the girl group's disbandment is officially confirmed!
Representatives from the British pop group released the following statement on Tuesday:
It looks like G.R.L. will no longer be a girl group!
Over the weekend, fans noticed that two of the Ugly Heart songstresses had changed their social media accounts — a sign hinting that the group had split.
Group members Emmalyn Estrada and Paula van Oppen's Twitter handles no longer include "GRL" — and Paula's has been completely changed from @GRLPaula to @eyesthatlightup!
And if that wasn't enough proof, founding member Lauren Bennett may have confirmed that the group was done with this cryptic message:

This completely breaks our heart!
Now, the rest of the G.R.L. ladies are paying tribute to their fallen sister by releasing the video for Lighthouse featuring clips and photos of Battle during her happiest moments.
It's so sad what money can make people do.
At the time, Simone only had a few thousand dollars in her bank account, but she had a lot more on the way.
Due to contracts with Sony, Coca-Cola, and other companies, Simone's family could stand to inherit a large sum of her money, but there's a catch.
Simone's mother Donna Morgan has to be officially named the administrator of Simone's estate first. Her application is currently pending.
But it just goes to show that problems are only temporary, and sometimes a solution is right around the corner. So sad.
