Rebel Wilson Says She Developed A Career-Damaging Stress Sore After Tabloid Published True Story Of Her Lying About Age

Rebel Wilson is living up to her (fake) name and isn't going to give in to the tabloids!

As we reported in 2015, Australian publication Women's Day published an article claiming the Pitch Perfect star lies about her background, notably her name and her age.

Days later, documents from the Australian Securities and Investment Commission and the Australian Electoral Roll proved that she lied about her age by 6 years, and that her birth name is Melanie Elizabeth Bownds.

Fast forward to this year, "Fat Amy" sued Bauer Media (the publisher of Women's Day) for defamation… even though she in fact fibbed about her past.

On Wednesday, Wilson took the stand and told the Supreme Court of Victoria that she was so distressed by the articles, she developed a "stress sore" around her mouth. As a result of the blemish, the filmmakers of How to Be Single (her 2016 comedy with Dakota Johnson) were forced to cut her from several scenes.

She claims she also developed eczema, a urinary tract infection, and had to take sleeping pills during this traumatic time.

The Australian actress believes an "obsessed and weirdly jealous" former schoolmate told Women's Day about her fake age in order to make a "quick buck." According to emails read aloud in court, the source did try to make money from the scoop.

Not only did the controversy decrease the amount of roles she was offered, Wilson says the publication strategically released the information to coincide with the release of Pitch Perfect 2.

While we feel horrible for what Rebel had to go through, doesn't it seem like she should've been honest in the first place??

CBO Says Republican Health Care Bill Will Split Country In 3!

The GOP rushed to pass their health care bill in the House before it could even get a grade from the Congressional Budget Office. But now, THREE WEEKS LATER we finally have some answers about what's in it.

And it's as bad as was expected.

The non-partisan CBO has determined the American Health Care Act as it stands will mean 23 million fewer people with health insurance by 2026 and 14 million fewer will qualify for Medicaid.

These numbers are pretty close to where they were under the previous incarnations of the bill. Though it obviously STILL goes against Donald Trump's promise of "insurance for everybody."

NOW however, it's going to cost more. While the previous bill was rated as cutting the deficit by about $150 mil over ten years, this one will only cut it by $119 mil.

But the biggest change is from the last-minute additions, which are all about giving individual states the option to waive Obamacare protections. The CBO says this will split the country into three different zones:

After delivering his last presidential impersonation of the season, Alec Baldwin tackled a much more personal issue: his battle with Lyme disease.

The actor flew to California on Sunday to speak for the Bay Area Lyme Foundation LymeAid benefit for research at a private home outside Palo Alto.

In his speech, the Saturday Night Live veteran spoke on his own struggle with Lyme disease for the first time since a casual comment to the New York Times in 2011.

Baldwin has always been reluctant to talk about the disease, and the foundation's executive director Linda Giampa said she's been trying to get him to attend the event for years.

This year, however, Giampa said the actor "just felt the time was right" to talk about his illness — which was discussed with plenty of jokes. He said walking up to the stage:

What a sad situation.

On Sunday, Lady GaGa confirmed that her longtime best friend, Sonja Durham, has passed away. As you may recall, it was revealed last year that the Haus of Gaga managing director was battling breast, brain, and lung cancer. And while Durham used to serve as the Million Reasons singer's assistant back in the day, GaGa has lost so much more than an employee as the twosome have known each other for more than a decade.

Fans Call Out Doctors & Drug Companies After Chris Cornell's Wife Says Suicide May Have Been Caused By Prescription Ativan

Chris Cornell's suicide is just so hard to understand. And to his widow Vicky it's "inexplicable."

In a statement early on Friday, she specifically mentioned her husband telling her he had taken "an extra Ativan or two" and that he was "slurring his words."

The Cornells' attorney Kirk Pasich concurred, saying the family was "disturbed at inferences that Chris knowingly and intentionally took his life."

The family is apparently looking to blame the prescription medication and are hoping the full autopsy results support their case that Chris' suicide was not his own idea.

It may sound bizarre for a drug used to treat anxiety, but one of the listed side effects of Ativan, the brand name of lorazepam, is suicidal ideation and suicide attempts.

Many on Twitter following the story were quick to support Vicky's position, including fans, doctors, and recovering addicts:
