While the final picture might be graphic (AFTER THE JUMP), it's totally astounding!
The victim was a 33 year-old man who had his face completely torn off in an accident that also crushed his jaw. He had the total face transplant only a few weeks after narrowly surviving — and just six days after the surgery, he was shown making a thumbs-up gesture from his hospital bed!
According to the doctors, it was the world's first life-saving face transplant carried out so soon after the damage. Other successful transplants took months or years to prepare, so this was pretty intense timeline-wise!
We're so glad that someone decided to donate the extra face they had lying around!
JK! LOLz! We TRULY are proud of whoever signed up to be a donor, even if they're not longer with us. It's a heroic thing to do, regardless if they've passed on!

For some reason, Zoe Saldana STILL feels the need to defend her weight reveal on the cover of Allure magazine!
The Star Trek Into Darkness actress AND the publication both came under fire when it revealed she only weighed 115 pounds, but she has already spoken out and said she simply has a smaller frame than most!
Now, she's defending the magazine for its decision to publish the headline, saying:

We hope you bought two tickets to the gun show, because Vin Diesel is in the house!
The Fast & Furious actor put his muscles on full display as he posed for the cover of Men's Fitness magazine and reminded us all why he's usually typecast as bulky action heroes!
While we're ALWAYS happy to see celebrities promoting health, we have to admit this cover is just a little depressing!
Seriously, we could could work out EVERYDAY and we would still never look like that!
Thanks a lot for setting the bar so high, Vin!!

There is nothing about this attack that wasn't extremely horrifying — and even though Ronald Poppo seems to be in good spirits, we still can't help but wish it had never happened to him in the first place!
If you recall, Miami was struck with a shocking display of violence last year that started a nation-wide scare when it came to a drug people were using called "bath salts." That attack resulted in Ronald losing his nose, his eyes, and 80% of his face — because the attacker on the drug was EATING HIM ALIVE. (disturbing post-surgery photo featured AFTER THE JUMP)

Get it, Rebel Wilson!
Rebel, who is everyone's imaginary best friend, was spotted getting her fitness on and working on her health!
She was seen blasting some tunes — hopefully early sneak peeks at Pitch Perfect 2 music!!! — and being completely focused on the task at hand! That's right, it was time to HIKE!
We hope you worked up a rad sweat, girl! Feel free to let us know when to audition for PP2! HA!

It's true that eating disorders seem to afflict women more than men, but it would be completely wrong for someone to go around saying that men never get them — take actor Ashley Hamilton, for instance. He was in Iron Man 3, and he has a history of eating disorder trouble!
Ashley plays a small but pivotal role of former military officer Jack Taggert, and he also has a band called The Wondergirls, and he says he's:

Now this is the way to spend an eight-month anniversary of your bone marrow transplant victory — a standing ovation while accepting an award on behalf of your ABC program at the 72nd annual George Foster Peabody Awards at the Waldorf Astoria in New York City!
Such a beautiful moment for Robin Roberts!
When she took the stage to accept the award, she said this:
