Bill Wants A Bit Of Hil's Mojo

billclinton__opt.jpg

Not being the center of attention must be killing him!

In a new interview with CNN International, former president Bill Clinton revealed that he won't mess things up for wifey Hillary by meddling in her Secretary of State job or President-Elect Obama's presidential duties.

But, should Baracky ask, he'd LOVE to help out the President-elect!

CNN: How involved do you think you will get in the decisions that your wife will have to make as far as foreign policy?

Bill: Very little. I think my involvement will be what our involvement with each other’s work has always been, which is all the years that I was governor and president, I talked to her about everything. I found her advice invaluable, and I'm sure we'll talk about all this. I mean, I really care about all these profound challenges that our country and the world are facing. But the decisions will have to be ultimately the President-elect Obama's decisions to make about what we are going to do, what our policies are going to be, and she will be part of the team formulating those policies and carrying them out. I'll just try to be a helpful sounding board to her, but I don't think I'll do any more than that. Unless he asks me to do something specific, which I'm neither looking for nor closed to.

So, President-Elect Obama, just in case you didn't know, Bill is here to do anything you need him to, ok?

The bigger the job the better, right Bubba?

Bubba's Cooperating To Help Hillary Score Big Job

billhills.jpg

Though still unconfirmed by the Clinton and Obama camps, the media continues to run on the assumption that Hillary Clinton is the front-runner for the Secretary of State position in President-Elect Obama's cabinet.

However, as we mentioned on Tuesday, her husband, former president Bill Clinton, was reportedly hampering things for Hills.

Billy wasn't giving the Obama vetting team all the information they needed to determine whether or not Mrs. Clinton would bring too many 'conflict of interests' to the job.

But, as of today, Wednesday, anonymous sources close to the negotiations say Bubba is whistling a different tune, according to a new report.

He's offered 'several concessions' to help Hills with the bid for the big job.

The former president has agreed to release the names of several major donors to his charitable foundation and will submit future foundation activities and paid speeches to a strict ethics review. They also said that he'd would step away from day-to-day responsibility for his foundation while his wife serves and would alert the State Department of any new sources of income and to his speechmaking.

Hardcore!
The report goes on to say that Billy has engaged in other deals that could complicate Hill's Secretary of State duties. Records show he raised money for his foundation from the Saudi royal family, Kuwait, Brunei and the Embassy of Qatar, and from a Chinese Internet company seeking information on Tibetan human rights activists.

A team of attorneys repping the Clintons have apparently been holed up in DC this week negotiating with the Obama team.

Serious stuff!

Many people have said Hills is inclined to take the big Obama job if it is offered, but others also say it's not a total given as she is considering the consequences of leaving the Senate, where she had hoped to take a leading role on health care reform and other issues.

Just yesterday, Tuesday, the highly respected senior senator, Ted Kennedy, offered Hills a huge role in his health reform campaign.

She was asked by the esteemed Kennedy to lead a group focused on insurance reform.

Where will Hillary end up?

Tune in tomorrow for the next dramatic episode of As the Hillary World Turns.

She Accepts? Hillary Wants to Be Secretary of State

hillclinton.jpg

It's all still speculation because both camps still refuse to officially discuss the matter, but the UK's Guardian, a respectable publication, says that Hillary Clinton is set to accept the Secretary of State position she was allegedly offered by President-Elect Obama.

The only thing both interested parties need to get over is the vetting process. The Obama camp needs to make sure that Hill won't bring anything to the table that would create a 'conflict of interest'.

Insiders worry that Hillary's husband, former president, Bill Clinton, could eff up her bid for the appointment.

His financial and foreign entanglements could turn out to be major 'conflicts'! Of special interest to the Obama vetting team are the former president's dealings with foreign governments and pharmaceutical companies.

On Monday it emerged that Democrats "are becoming exasperated" by Billy's response to requests for information about his finances.

We hope Bill won't mess it up for Hills!

Hillary, Secretary Of State???

wenn52000202.jpg

Sen. Hillary Clinton might be a few steps closer to the White House.

According to reports, Clinton is among the candidates that President-elect Barack Obama is considering for Secretary of State.

Some top Democratic party officials are questioning if Clinton is really the best-suited for the role as the nation's top diplomat. But, everyone is keeping very hush about the whole process and whether Clinton is at the top of the list or not.

Many Democratic officials are giving anonymous tips and even Clinton's spokesman, Philippe Reines, said any questions should be directed to the Obama transition team.

Of course, the team said they had no comment.

As for other possible candidates for the top position, those include Democrat Sen. John Kerry, Republican Sen. Chuck Hagel, and New Mexico's Democratic governor, Bill Richardson.

What do U think?

Should Hillary be selected for Secretary of State?

A Little Glam Never Hurt Anyone

ahillary.jpg

Hillary Clinton ditched the blocky pantsuit to glam it up in a conservative floor-length gown in New York City on Monday night.

She was honored at the Glamour Magazine Honors the 2008 Women of the Year event at Carnegie Hall.

Though the wind last night may have sent a chill through attendees' bones, it made dresses billow elegantly in the night.

Glamorous indeed!

This Crazy Bitch on Sexy Sarah

wenn21111663.jpg

Celebs aren't hesitant to talk about their political views, and we love it! Well, except for the Republicans. They like to remain mum.

This time around it's disco diva Grace Jones that's speaking out.

The Jamaican-born singer is bothered that Hillary Clinton didn't make it to the final elections. Especially because Jones can't stand Sarah Palin.

On Wednesday, the singer spoke with the German media and said that Palin would be a bad move for America.

Jones said, "I would have loved it if Hillary Clinton had pulled it off."

We agree with her there.

And she added, "I can't stand Sarah Palin. I bet a woman like that has no sense of humour."

As for her views of feminism and sexism, Jones believes in her own ideals.

She says, "I believe a woman can present herself as a sex object if she has fun doing it."

Hey, Sarah Palin is with you there.

Palin was a "sex object" when she paraded herself around in bathing suites in beauty pageants. Cause sorry, even if they do test you for talent and all, if you're walking around in a bikini and heals they aren't looking at your brain.
