T.I. is jumping to Iggy Azalea's defense!!
In response to Banks' racially charged rant, the rapper tweeted:
Hoodie Allen likely won't be embraced with open arms by the hip hop community any time soon.
Well, there's the whole white and Jewish thing!
But that's not the big point. The real issue is that he makes pop music, not rap music. He just so happens to be rapping in his songs!
That formula worked very well for Macklemore. And we see lots of potential in Hoodie Allen as well!
Just check out his new song, Show Me What You're Made Of, above.
And doing it on his own, without a major label being involved.
Much like Macklemore did too!
Talk about having your cake and eating it too!
If you were lucky enough to witness Hoodie Allen's NYC takeover on Saturday, your tastebuds were in for an unexpectedly delicious surprise!
While the young rapper dished out a dope rendition of Cake Boy, his crew brought out actual birthday cakes on to the stage and flung them mercilessly into the audience!!
Ch-ch-check out Hoodie's fiercely fresh food fight at the Roseland Ballroom (above)!!!
We're a smidgeon jealous our talented friend never busted out any baked goods when he rocked our fabulous 35th birthday party last month, LOLz!!
Sooooo adore this guy and this party poppin' song!
We seriously loved him in the music video, but live is even hotter…and still totes adorbs!
Can he just follow us around occasionally breaking out into this song??
How hot would our days be then?!
Thank you, Hoodie Allen, for heating up the party and our lives with your bumpin’ beats!
Ch-ch-check out his performance (above)!!
Thirty-five has never looked so FIERCE!
We like to throw every party like it's the most fabulous one ever, but this year, with the birth of our bouncing baby boy, it really was!!!
Saturday was a milestone birthday for us and we spent the entire evening in our pajamas at the El Rey with our closest friends and family!!
We are simply honored and blessed to have so many ah-mazing people in our lives! In fact, all this reminiscing is getting us misty-eyed right now!!
Thankfully, we took tons of pics and video to go with our fond memories which will indeed last a lifetime!!
Awww! Three generations of Perez!! We love it!!
We truly love you all!
We told y'all white boy rap was having it's moment!
We hope he takes this the right way, but Hoodie Allen's Fame Is For Assholes is adorable!
He comes across so charming in the song and video!
Check it out above!
It's got a Mike Posner vibe - and production - set to rap!
