Orb!!
Orb the horse won the 139th kentucky derby on Saturday!
It was a cloudy, cool afternoon at Churchill Downs when the "fastest two minutes in sports" was run.
Orb, lead by jockey Joel Rosario, ran the one and a quarter mile track in 2:02.89.
The more we learn about Kate Upton, the more we like her!
The Sports Illustrated cover girl sat down with the mag to chat about things like her perfect date and what's on her bucket list.
We found all of this new info HIGHly informative, especially the part where she says her perfect date involves a little bit of riding! Ha!
We wonder if she prefers bareback. Hmm….
Ch-ch-check it out (above) to hear all her answers!

While on a recent trip to Capitol Hill, Jillian Michaels spoke with Senators Barbara Boxer and Dianne Feinstein about cosponsoring a bill that would ban the slaughter of horses in America.
PETA's Vice President Dan Mathews was there as well, lending his voice to the issue.
They all retreated to Sen. Boxer's office to talk more about the bill that would make it illegal to kill horses for their meat but also they discuss the Safeguard American Food Exports (SAFE) Act.

We previously mentioned that Howard Stern's wife Beth Stern is hosting a show called Spoiled Rotten Pets.
She's a huge animal lover so of course she was comfortable hanging around a pony while at The Grove in West Hollywood.
She was at The Grove while filming an appearance on Extra! and there was a cute little mini horsie on set with her.
She was talking with Maria Menounos and the lil' pony was just kinda standing there.
We're not exactly sure why there was a pony or what was going on but we're fine with that because it's a nice pic.
It's got a beautiful Beth and a precious pony… want more could you want?
Other than a thousand ponies or a pegasus or something. LOLz!

The race for the next mayor of New York City may be a historic one.
Not only for humans, but for horses, too!
Horse drawn carriages in New York City have become a big issue these days.
Animal activists say it is severe animal cruelty to have horses drawing carriages around cars in the city. Plus they say the horses are treated very poorly!
But others say that to remove carriage horses from the city will put 300 people out of a job!
One of the supporters of carriage horses is Christine C. Quinn - a top candiate to replace Michael Bloomberg as mayor of the Big Apple.
But one of her main opponents is not a supporter.
