We're sorry to hear this, Hugh, but we still think U did the right thing!
Back in July, Hugh Grant opened up about exposing the News of the World phone hacking scandal.
Now, we're hearing that Hugh's baby mama has been harassed AND has received threats after he spoke to the press!
Here's what barrister David Sherborne QC, who is representing many phone-hacking victims, had to say about it:

What a surprise!
That's right, 51-year-old Hugh Grant has recently welcomed the birth of a daughter!
This is the first child for Hugh, as for the baby momma... we don't know. Actually, Hugh is keeping any and all info about the mother of his only child (including her identity) under wraps.
All we know is it's someone that gave birth, somewhere on Earth, in early October. But who cares? (We do, but only a lot.) What's important is that Hugh is happy!
"He's going to be a great dad! He's beaming about his daughter. He's not with the mum anymore but he's absolutely thrilled."
Reveals a source.
In 2007, the British actor told Vogue he was ready to be a father:
"As much as I adore myself, I'm quite keen to find someone else to care about more. I remember reading a Warren Beatty quote when he finally had children and said what a relief it was to not be all me, me, me."
We wish Hugh -- and his mystery momma -- all the luck in the world!
Congratulations!

Excellent!
We'd be lying if we said we weren't really forward to this!
Now that the long-awaited second sequel to Bridget Jones's Diary is officially in the works, and Renee Zellweger and Colin Firth are confirmed, the latter actor, otherwise known as Mr. Darcy in the series, opened up about the project, and says that working on the flicks is like a "fraught family reunion!"
He explains:

This is an interesting addition to an already AWESOME team…minus Natalie Portman.
Matrix directors The Wachowskis have assembled a fantastic crew for their upcoming film Cloud Atlas, which is based on David Mitchell's novel about a series of characters that find their destinies intertwined over thousands of years.

Hugh Grant, one of the biggest names involved in the News of the World hacking scandal, has just won the legal right to see the evidence from the case to see if his voicemail was indeed hacked by the now defunct paper.

Hugh Grant is one brave guy.
The actor has a close connection with the News of the World phone hacking scandal in that his own phone was hacked by the British newspaper.
Feeling personally violated by NOTW, Hugh explains why he went public in order to expose the scheme:

Oh man! This is GREAT news!
A third Bridget Jones film has been in the works for quite some time, but it finally appears as though the project has snagged a director - and a HIGHlarious one, at that!
Bridesmaids' Paul Feig is reportedly in deep negotiations to helm the flick, and is said to be "beyond keen" to shoot in Londontown!
Amazing! We think he could bring some much-needed HIGHlarity to this, given the laughs he was able to generate in his last project!
We just hope that Renée, Hugh, and Colin all come back - especially since the last one left, despite being cute, left a bit to be desired!
Get to work, guys!
We need that vodka chugging, Chaka Khan-singing ex-singleton back in our life!
