Not only will all of America Panem miss Plutarch Heavensbee, Effie Trinket herself is still dealing with the sad news.

Elizabeth Banks got emotional on the Today show talking about the loss of her Hunger Games co-star Philip Seymour Hoffman:

“I’m still processing it. I really am in shock. He is an absolutely amazing actor, respected by everyone and part of our family at The Hunger Games. We will miss him terribly, and obviously, really upset for his children and his partner. It’s just a tragedy.”

It really is such a monumental tragedy, Elizabeth. Our hearts go out to his partner and his children as well during this extremely trying time.

It must be hard for Katniss to say goodbye to this Gamemaker!

Jennifer Lawrence returned to the set of The Hunger Games: Mockingjay after the passing of Philip Seymour Hoffman, and she looked about as sad as if someone told her District 12 was destroyed.

This heroine's spirits must be crushed to hear about her co-star's recently lost battle to an addiction he's been battling for years, especially since one final, emotional scene still had to be shot with PSH.

We'd imagine every actor is at a loss knowing they can never share a scene with this exceptional artist.

Panem, the entertainment community, the Hunger Games cast and crew, and the whole world are mourning the loss of so elegant and skilled a performer as Philip!

We hope he's at peace with the old Gamemaker upstairs.

Not too long after the unfortunate and sudden death of Philip Seymour Hoffman, the Hunger Games crew is back at work in Atlanta.

Losing Philip was a terrible ordeal, but as they say, the show must go on!

Among those who returned to set on Tuesday afternoon, Liam Hemsworth was spotted decked out in a grey uniform, preparing to film a scene in a large office building!

But alas Jennifer Lawrence was no where to be found!

Isn't Gale supposed to be keeping a close eye on Katniss when they reunite in Mockingjay?!

Hm, we can only imagine how this will all play out on the big screen. More shots of Gale & Katniss together, please!!
