Buh-bye Broadway and Showtime, HELLO Grammys?! Maybe!

Ya'll probably know Hunter Parish best for his role on Weeds and his work on the Great White Way, but soon, you'll now him as the breakout star of the music world, as he is poised to release his debut EP next month!

Repped by Layer Cake Records, Hunter's first disc will be released on April 17th, preceded by his first single (which is currently still being mixed for radio), Sitting At Home.

But you know what? We don't think you can wait that long! We think you need to listen to his single RIGHT NOW.

On his way to Circle in the Square Theatre, Hunter Parrish gave the paps smiles and cheer in New York City!

He was on his way to perform in Godspell. And despite the negative reviews, we've said it once and we'll say it again! He is the saving grace of this show because he's wonderful to look at for a few hours, LOL!

When we were in New York last month, we saw the show too. And we've got to say - WE AGREE! This was nothing to write home about!

The reviews are in for the revival of Godspell on Broadway and not too many people have that many nice things to say about the show. 40th Anniversary production of Stephen Schwartz's rock musical was compared to a "being trapped in a summer camp rec room with a bunch of kids who have been a little too reckless with the Red Bull," by the New York Times for all the "bouncing" and "bounding" it did.

The Hollywood Reporter warn potential viewers to "prepare for disappointment," as they felt the show echoed a "high school production staged by the wacky new drama teacher," with no real depth and strength to the acting or the production.

Most reviewers conceded that the young cast was talented (somewhat), but that the production itself … well, we think Steven Suskin of Variety said it best:
